Pain so deep, it cuts through me
A wound that never seems to heal
A relentless ache that lingers on
No matter how hard I feel
My heart is broken and my soul is sad
My joy is gone and my spirit dead
The hurt won't cease, I'm stuck in time
There's no respite, no end in sight
The pain won't stop, it's here to stay
It follows me wherever I go
No matter how hard I try to escape
The pain still lingers, so deep and low
Though pain can't last forever
It will eventually start to subside
But for now, I must wait and see
And hope that one day, it will heal
