I've chosen to embrace the night
A path of darkness so bright
To give in to my darkest fears
And cast away all tears
No longer bound by the light
My power now knows no height
My shadow's now my closest friend
And darkness will never end
My heart is hardened by the dark
No more will I ever hark
To the whispers of the sun
My power has just begun
My soul has become so cold
No more will I ever hold
The sweet embrace of the light
No more will I take flight
This life of darkness I must take
To become the master of my fate
My power will now never cease
As I turn away from the peace
