Babylon

In the depths of the ancient land
Where darkness reigns and demons stand
Lies the city of Babylon
A place of wickedness, where all is gone

Towers of stone, reaching high
Piercing the blood-red sky
Whispers of sin, fill the air
A place of despair, beyond repair

The streets are lined with greed and lust
Where souls are sold and trust is crushed
The cries of the innocent, unheard
As the rulers feast, their power absurd

A cursed place, where evil thrives
And goodness struggles to survive
The gates of hell, forever open
In this city, where sin is chosen

Babylon, the city of the damned
Where darkness rules, and light is banned
A place where souls are lost and forgotten
In the shadows of this ancient rotten

So beware, if you dare to roam
In the land of Babylon, you'll never find home
For once you enter, you'll never leave
A prisoner to the darkness, forever to grieve
