Now that Gary's plan is on the wait, Y/N outlook on the school got much better. Nobody is unfriendly with him; he has respect with his school mates and his status as head boy is still secure. Not just that, something good will happen within a couple of minutes. His first date with Gary. It took a lot of convincing to have a date in public, since Gary rather wants a date that is just the two of them. However, when he got reminded, a scooter is available for only 70 tokens, he's quick to change his stance.
The date begins soon. Before going, Y/N takes a quick tour to the library to return a book. Once he sees the building, he also sees a group of nerds in a circle, looking rather in trouble.
"This is a disgrace!"
"It's appalling... I don't want a plague! Or a pet rat!" Algie complains.
Y/N gives the group an odd look when he walks to them. "Is there something wrong?"
Earnest is quick to walk over to him and start immediately complaining. "The library is invested with rats! And it's all Jimmy's fault!"
Jesus, is this a new trend to blame Jimmy on everything? Yeah, Jimmy is an easy person to blame, however why would someone blame a rat infestation on him.
Algie joins in with the complaints. "And I've got my pre- pre- pre med tests! Oh, how I long for the old days." He turns around and looks at the library rather longingly. "Sure, we were laughed at and mercilessly bullied by everyone, but at least you could study without fear of rodents coming near us!" Did Y/N hear that right? Algie would rather be bullied than some rats in the library. Priorities, he guesses...
Suddenly, a rat shows up, scaring everyone. The nerds all run behind Y/N, or in the case of Algie, jump on him. "Ew! Get off me!" Y/N pushes Algie off of him. That's when Y/N sees a wet spot-on Algie's crotch. "Are you kidding- did you just piss yourself?" Y/N looks down, hoping the piss didn't touch him. Luckily, it didn't.
Beatrice is quick to give her opinion. "Ew!"
Algie quickly covers his crotch. "No! I swear! I spilled soda on myself..." The entire group doesn't believe him.
Y/N sighs. "By the- fine, I deal with it!" He walks pass the group. "Might as well clean this mess when I just come here to return my book." He hoped things become better after Jimmy being overthrow, but he guesses not.
When he walks in the library, he sees Ms. Carvin on her table, not wanting the rats to come after her. In front of the table that is next to her table is an open crate that lays on the side. A couple of books lay around. Walking further in the library, he sees a lot of rats running around rather fast. Before doing anything, he put the book he wants to return on Carvin's table.
"Those filthy rats have no respect for my beautiful library." Ms. Carvin says in an frighten tone.
Now, how to deal with the rats? The first though Y/N got is bringing Lucifer over and kill every last one of them. He saw him hunt. Gary raised him to become a murder weapon. Though he shuts down the plan because that reveals Lucifer's existence to Ms. Carvin, and thus every teacher. Oh, maybe he could use his slingshot?
Grabbing his slingshot from his pocket, he begins aiming it to a rat that doesn't move. Letting loose of the elastic, the ammo pierces through the rat, killing it. Well, now he knows how to kill them.
Starting with just one dead rat, more of them joins. With one shot after another, the corpses of the rats fill the floor of the library. Y/N hopes he doesn't have to clean this up. He goes to every nook and cranny of the room, looking for any rat that exists. When he continues to hear them peeping, he searches further for his targets. Quickly enough, he manages to kill about 20 rats. Before deciding he's done, he waits for any living rat that move or any noise of them. However, he hears none.
