"michael? where in the world are you!?" el demanded through the phone as she laid on her back on the couch in dante's office.
he was working by his desk whilst she rolled over and stared out at the view of the city. "come lunch me," she practically whined.
"i'm coming, i'm coming! i was texting my mom,"
"oh, something wrong?" she asked, moving to stand up before standing in front of the floor to ceiling windows.
she played around with the window, trailing her fingers over it before she sat down on the floor crisscrossed.
"no, she's... i'm going to go see her tonight. i can lunch you first though," he told her sweetly. "i'll come over now,"
"perfect," she nodded and felt dante drape a blanket over her shoulder. "corner in 20 minutes?"
"yes," he promised her. "see you, little devil,"
"okay," she breathed out before hanging up and tipping her head up to meet dante's gaze. "hihi,"
"hi," he chuckled and gently trailed his fingers over her cheek to wipe some glitter off.
