"Thanks for fixing the window" Beck smiled at the man, as i signed my name on his clipboard before handing it back to him
"Yeah, and we didn't even notice your lack of hair" Cat smiled looking at his head
"Cat, babe, you cant say that to people" I said looking at her, as she was on the other side of Beck
"Guitar all good up there?" Beck asked as Cat walked over to Jade and Robbie
"Yepper-de-do" Robbie said getting off of the ladder
"Yeah, and look, you cant even see where it broke"
"Nope"
"Yay! Our mom's boss will never know anything bad happened" Cat smiled
Robbie walked over to the side table "Woah, is this a real human skull" he asked picking it up
Jade uncrossed her arms walking over to him "Yeah, give it so i can put it back" she said putting her hand out
"No, im looking at it"
"Robbie give it to me" She said grabbing it, as he wasn't letting go
"No, Jade"
"Robbie stop we dont have time!"
"Let me see it!"
"Fine!" Jade yelled letting go, at the same time Robbie also let go, it fell right onto the glass table, with glass bowls full of candy, and then the guitar string broke hitting the lights earning in it sparking, as Beck grabbed my waist pulling me away from it as i was the closest
Cat whined beginning to cry "Dont cry" Jade said looking at her
"But-" she began but was cut off as the buzzer went off
"I heard a buzz" Robbie said
"Zip up your pants" Jade said glancing at him
Cat walked over to the intercom pressing the button "Hello?" She asked
"Cat? Its Carl Gibbons. I forgot my key. Would you buzz me in?" he asked as Cat looked back to me
"It's out mom's boss" she said
"Could you buss me in?" he asked once more
"Um, sir, i could--or maybe you could go to Europe for two weeks"
"Cat, buzz me in"
"KK" she said her voice breaking
She cried walking over and laying on the couch
"Cat"
"itll be okay"
"Kitty, when he gets up here, we'll explain that-" I began but was cut off as the place began to move as we all looked at each other
"What's happening?" Robbie asked
"Earthquake!" Jade yelled
"Okay, everyone get down. Cover your heads!" Beck yelled as i felt him grab me, as Jade grabbed a pillow sitting on the couch covering her head, as Robbie came over grabbing Cat and covering her
Beck covered my head as everything around us began to fall and break, as the dog began to bark
The earthquake had stopped but Beck didnt let go of me as we walked over to the couch
"Cat? Cat? Cynthia??" Mr. Gibbons yelled coming up the stairs and into the room
"Hi, Mr. Gibbons" Cat said looking at him, as he looked at Cat and I
"Some stuff got broke" I said
"I know, i--i i felt the earthquake when i was coming up the stairs. You kids okay?" he asked as we all nodded
"Yeah"
"Yes, sir"
"We're fine"
"Im Robbie"
"We're so sorry about your guitar and lamp and your table" Cat said pointing at the things as she spoke
"Thats all right, its not your guy's fault" he said looking at her
"But-" Cat began as Jade cut her off
"Cat, Mr. Gibons isnt mad at us, because he knows the earthquake caused all this damage."
"Yeah, we can only blame the earth" Beck said finally taking his hands off my waist, but leaving his hand connected to mine
"And its quaking" Robbie added
"of course, im just relieved that- that Coober and you kids are okay. Son, your zipper" he said nodding his head at Robbie
"Jiminy!" he yelled before zipping his pants up
We were all outside after helping him clean up and we began to leave, Beck jogged over to me as Jade was taking Cat and Robbie home
"Hey" he smiled coming over, as i looked at him
"Hi, Beck" I said looking at him, as i began to play with my keys
"Can we talk, please?" he asked as i sighed a little
"Yeah, we can. Get in the car" I smiled a little looking at him
"I-
"We-" we both laughed looking at each other
"You can go" I said looking at him as he nodded
"I just wanna say that I'm really sorry, i love you so so much, Cynthia. And I'm so sorry about everything I've done, and that I've been so dumb not to see what was the problem and that i was to nice to Tori, when in all honesty she just really needed to be put into place. And that I'm sorry I let her get in-between us. An-and i can only sit her and beg that you take me back and im so fucking sorry, and if you ever give me another chance i promise to not let Tori or anyone else get in-between us, but i truly love you with my whole heart, and i promise you i wanted to open the door but i also knew you deserve better than me so i wanted to give you a chance to find better" he rambled as i smiled a little
"Beck, i dont want better, you're good enough, you're the one i want" I whispered as he rested his elbows on the console looking at me
"I only want you"
"And i only want you, Beck" I whispered looking at him, as we both began to lean in.
He placed his hands on my cheeks as i placed my hands around his neck
"Did you see that Trina is telling everyone i asked her out?" Beck asked showing me his phone, as i looked up from his lap laughing a little
"Shes so delusional i love it" I said going back to watching my movie
"You arent mad at her? Dont wanna murder her?" he asked as i paused my show looking at him
"No, cause we arent dating. Just cause we kissed and i forgave you doesnt mean we're suddenly back together, we have to start from the beginning, sneaking around, stealing kisses, going on dates until you ask me out" I smiled looking at him
"But i still want you to have these" He said pulling out the ring and necklace he gave me, i smiled as he was carrying them around
I grabbed them before leaning over and putting them in my purse "You aren't gonna put them on" he asked as i shook my head and he placed his hands on my waist
"Ill will, but first i have a plan about this Trina thing" I said smirking, before laying down next to him and beginning to tell him my plan
