East

9:00am in the morning, I am heading to the dining table for breakfast.

As usual everyone is seated. Taking all greetings, I take my sit as I greet my aunt.

"Good morning honey. Where were you yesterday?" She asked.

"Out" all I said as Lucia placed my food in front of me.

"He said he had to deal with personal stuff" Seth said.

I pick up my food with my fork.

"How did it go?" He asked.

"Good" I said picking my glass of orange juice, and sipped.

"I think he doesn't want to talk about it" Iris said.

I shrug focusing on my food.

"Oh thanks dear" aunt said as someone familiar walked pass her.

Collateral.

"Berry sauce again?" Iris asked.

"Yeah yeah." aunt said as I watch her pick a spoonful of her sauce.

"Isn't it becoming too much for you?" Iris asked.

Aunt shrugged. "I can't help it. She is too good"

I don't disagree with that. The sauce is remarkable. Lucia can't beat that.

A sound claimed our attention.

It's that collateral. She seem to have bumped into Iris' male friend who I think is just walking in.

He helped her pick up the plate that fell and caused the sound and hand it to her, smiling.

She was smiling as well.

"Sorry" he said

"Thank you" she said.

He placed his hand on her arm, rubbing it a little.

I clenched my fork.

I walk out of the room, heading towards the kitchen. Getting inside the kitchen, it was empty. Everyone must have retired.

I placed the plate that fell when I bumped into Jesse, on the counter.

Thankfully it didn't break. Hmm it must be a very strong one.

I walk towards the pot I used in cooking berry saucd, opening it, there was still some berry sauce remaining.

I sniff on it, taking in the delicious aroma.

So nice.

I reach for a spoon when....

"Having fun aren't you?"

I flinched dropping the spoon I was holding.

Oh God. It's the boss.

He is in the kitchen.

My heart picked up.

"S...sir"

He scoffed walking towards me a bit.

He picked up the spoon and stretched it out to me.
