Your head was practically numb from the breeze as you ran through the woods, unable to see even an inch in front of your nose. In short, you were running blind in a forest barefoot, running into trees, and you were most certainly going in the wrong direction for your 'family tree'.

Not like it mattered, you could hear the radio static behind you, humming, followed by laughter. Of course he would be enjoying this.

The worst part was that your bursitis was starting to feel the strain, if you ran any longer, you were certain you were going to pull it out of its socket. It was getting harder trying to climb over some of the bigger roots that were sticking up as well. Not to mention the strain on your lungs and rib cage was causing you to cough, which strained it even more.

Now you know how Harry and Ron felt when they were running away from spiders in the Forbidden Forest.

You feel branches touching your arms and legs, you couldn't stop yourself from making some noise as they scratched you. You honestly thought it was Alastor touching you.

That was until something touched your ankle and gravity seemed to, shift?

You let out a bark of pain as something hard hits your nose and scratches your face. Then you feel something trickle down your face. Oh look, you were coughing your lungs out too. How lovely.

You whimper in pain as you try to stand up, already feeling a breakdown coming on because you got filthy again. But you couldn't stand up. Your leg refused to listen to you and was spasming so badly you couldn't hold back the whimper as it throbbed and pulled itself as if someone was trying to pull it out of its socket.

You jerk forward when you feel something grab your shoulder and turn you onto your back, forcing you to look up and into the demon's eyes, still with radio dial eyeballs and a glowing smile that looked like something out of a cheesy horror movie.

Along with a second face that looked more menacing than his.

"I w1N" he says through his distorted static, getting louder to the point you couldn't keep your eyes open, and you barely had any energy to cover your ears.

Sensory overload activate.

"You win" you wheeze and cough pathetically, trying not to breathe through your nose as you turn to the side to stop it from going back through your nose "be done with it then"

The static stopped and the silence became deafening. You could literally feel the tension in the air as you waited for the impending kill.

"Why would I do that?"

He sounded so normal and laid back that you had to blink in confusion as you tried to process the sudden change in personality and appearance to what it was before the demonic look. At least before he leaned down to pick you up to stand on your own feet. Which you failed miserably as you were now hopping on one foot so that you couldn't put pressure on it. And trying to get your breathing under control.

Your ribs were killing you right now.

"Killing you would be a waste of entertainment, and there's no way I would try to jeopardize that lovely radio job of yours"

You're already doing it by existing in my house.

"Besides" he continues as he wraps an arm around your back as if to steady you, then grabs your arm with his free hand and slowly pulls you into a dance of sorts "I have not smelt something this good since my mother's home-cooked Jambalaya"

You were stumbling as you tried to catch up with his dancing while also trying to avoid using your right leg. Coughing and wheezing away from his face. And failing miserably. This didn't stop you from whimpering or crying out every time your leg, as well as stumbling like the little weakling you were.
