hey everyone, vas here !

first of all, given the opportunity, i
would like to thank you all for the
unlimited love and support on this
book ─ when i first started writing
it,, i didn't expect people to enjoy it
as much as they do!

we've now reached more than 40K
reads & we're close to 2.5K votes ─
and the numbers keep growing day
by day ! i couldn't be more grateful
for all the amazing people who are
actively voting and commenting to
express their opinions ─ & some of
these comments are hilarious af!

so, without further ado, let's get
into the actual announcement :)

seeing as many people started to
read this book, i went through it
once or twice and, i must admit,
it is lacking a ton of stuff ─ i had
a little breakdown over this fact,
but we don't talk about that :,)

for example: there were a lot of
plot holes, some parts were a bit
rushed, characters appeared out
of nowhere and disappeared just
as quickly ─ overall, my writing
was a bit immature, hence why i
started rewriting it.

this time, as an original story!

a lot of the characters here were
already made up by me,, like the
mc and her friend,, some drivers
& other side characters. the only
thing left to do was to replace the
enhypen members with ocs.

one thing led to another & after
approximately five drafts and a
heck ton of research & crying, i
had finally decided on a decent
& satisfying plot,, as well as the
motorsports category i will be
basing the book on.

else you might end up all crashed up
against a wall... again."

ava yoon, an aspiring formula racer,
has just signed her contract with red
bull racing,, making this her debut in
f1 ─ under such a well-known team,
while also being the daughter of a 3
times world champion, the pressure
to live up to everyone's expectations
is sure to be a lot.

this doesn't stop AY6 from delivering
an outstanding performance at the
opening grand prix of the season.

however,, what is certain to put great
pressure on the twenty-year-old is the
presence of ethan lee ─ the one time
world champion ferrari driver & her
lifelong nemesis.

for the entirety of her career, ava's
been living in ethan's shadow; him
always being a step ahead.

it's a mutual loathing that both racers
don't bother with putting an end on ─
instead focusing on how to bring each
other down & following the cycle they
are so well used to.

things are to change when a series of
unexpected events leads the two down
the same rocky path. will they be able
to look past the unfounded hatred and
face the situations together? ─ or will their stubbornness,, that both drivers seem to be sharing a great amount,, get in their way?

i'm aware that most people aren't
familiar with the world of f1,, but
worry not! i myself am fairly new
to the sport and i'm learning new
stuff about it every single day, so i
refrain from making things overly
complicated ─ this way,, everyone
can enjoy it!

the book itself focuses more on
ava's life and every aspect of it;
her career & her relationships,
how she deals with the trauma
her father inflicted on her and,
of course, her inevitable falling
for heartthrob ethan lee :D

i thought of announcing this here in
case you guys would like to read an
even better & more complete version
of this book ─ where the characters
are well written & have more depth
and the plot is based on a real racing
event ─ this one, though based on an
actual british motorsport event, is all
over the place.
