“She has asthma, an inhaler will do Mr. She’s been stressing out lately that it drained her, she needs rest”
“Thank you, doc”
I was being awake by the noise. Nang imulat ko ang mga mata ko ay purong puti ang mga nakikita ko sa paligid. Did I fainted again just like before?
“Doc, gising na po siya!” pasigaw na sabi niya nang makita ako.
Dinaluhan agad ako ng doctor at nag check ng vitals ko.
“All normal, pahinga ka iha. Mauna na muna ako” paalam pa ng doctor.
When the doctor went out, Justin hurriedly make his way to me and holds my hand tightly. The concern in his eyes is very evident. He paused a while, closed his eyes tight before looking at me again. Damn him, he looks like a concern boyfriend to me.
“Bakit hindi mo sinabi sa ‘kin ‘to?” he asked, worried.
“Kumalma ka, Jah. Asthma lang ‘to, hindi naman ako mamamatay dahil dito” I chuckled a bit that made him glare at me.
“Do you know how worried I am?” mas humigpit pa lalo ang kapit niya sa kamay ko.
“O-Of course” sagot ko sabay baling sa mga kamay namin.
“You fainted, Krei! You need to rest, stress is draining you lately”
With that, I feel comfort within inside of me. The longing and missing part of my heart is slowly filling up with warmth and peace. Now that I have him here again, now that he’s here. Hindi ko na kailangang magpahinga dahil narito na ang pahingang hinahanap-hanap ko.
It still saddens me that they will hiatus but maybe this is for them also. They will comeback stronger soon and will dominate the world, I’m positive to that.
“I need to go to boracay” I said to him while he’s preparing my fruits.
“I will tell tito that you’re not feeling well, Krei. Magpahinga ka naman muna”
“I will rest there. Hindi ko papagurin ang sarili ko roon, Jah. I promise!” pagmamaka-awa ko pa.
“I will come with you then, to make sure that you’ll not overwork yourself” supladong sagot niya sa akin.
That pinch my heart. I’m happy that it hurts. Pwede pa lang maging masaya ka, na sa sobrang saya masakit. Masakit na iniisip ko na naman na pwede na ulit kahit malabo pa. Masaya dahil kahit walang kasiguraduhan, nandito siya sa tabi ko. At nandito rin ako sa tabi niya. Kahit ang totoo, hindi dapat ako ang inaalala niya ngayon. Dahil may pinagdaanan din siya, sila ng mga ka grupo niya.
“I already asked permission to tito that you’ll stay with me in boracay for a month”
My eyes widened a fraction. We are now going to the airport to catch the flight going to boracay.
“Jah, one week lang naman ata ‘yong seminar” maingat at hindi pa rin makapaniwalang sagot ko.
“I know” he said as if he knew every little details of my schedule.
Kaya pala dalawang maleta ang inihanda ni mommy sa akin dahil nakapagpaalam na pala si Justin sakanila. Hindi na ako kumibo dahil alam ko ring kailangan naming dalawa ‘to. Ang magpahinga muna sa lahat.
But why is he doing all of this to me? I’m still confused. What’s with this act? Is it because I am once a dear friend to him? Pero bakit? Nag-aalala ba siya? Kung noon ay binibigyang malisya ko ang lahat ngayon hindi. Iba ang ngayon sa noon. I’m that crazy for him before but now I know my limits. That’s why I’m not concluding everything here. Because I already learned my lessons. Maaring taliwas ang dahilan niya sa dahilan ko kaya mas mabuting huwag na muna mag-isip ng kung ano.
