YelloWool along with Boosfer both had things to do on this day, finally leaving Kier and Dev alone as a duo for the day.
They've been wanting some time together and alone with each other - not in a dirty way - since they've been with their friends for the past 2 weeks.
Kier sat near the water, taking a few small handfuls of water and watering the Sakura seed. It wasn't a very rainy place where Kier lived, so he would've just guessed he needed to water it himself.
Kier definitely read at least one book about Sakura trees just so he could take care of the seed and make sure it grows in a healthy environment.
Dev watched Kier's movement. As his two hands scooped up the water and dropped it onto the Sakura seeds placement.
Kier had placed a small crow feather next to where he planted the seed to mark where it was before. So in case if he ever forgot where it was he could always look for the crow feather.
Kier had finished watering the Sakura tree. He looked over at Dev who had used mud to make himself a small French style mustache.
"Dev what the heck are you doing?" Kier asked, looking down at his ocean bound friend.
"Dev? Non, je m'appelle Pierre" Dev said with a smirk, his serpentine eyes glaring into Kier's soul.
". . ." Kier stayed silent, staring into Dev's pure black eyes with confusion and disappointment.
"Seriously? Okay 'PIERRE' go get me a fish." He demanded."Non." Dev shook his head, still smirking.
Kier knew what would make Dev speak English but didn't want to do it. But— at the same time it would be funny to see his reaction.
Kier reached over and cupped Dev's face with his two hands on Dev's cheeks, scooting closer to his friend.
"Que fai-" Dev was cut off mid-word by the feeling of Kier's warm lips against his own. Kier pushed his tongue past Dev's two lips and teeth, feeling the inside of his mouth.
Dev didn't pull away, instead he just stared at Kier. Isn't this what lovers do?? He thought, completely confused by Kier's action.
Kier got carried away when feeling Dev's mouth. It was.. odd, and weird. Definitely not like Kier's mouth- or any fire dragons mouth.
Kier pulled away, disconnecting their lips because he ran out of breath.
"Holy shit my first kiss was my best friend.." Kier said, panting and staring at Dev with wide eyes.
"Why did you-?" Dev asked, staring back at Kier with confusion on his face. He had no clue if Kier liked him or not. He was at the maximum amount of confusion, his brain barely even processing what had just happened.
"Don't worry about why I did that." Kier wiped away Dev's mud-stache with his sleeve before Dev could go back to being 'Pierre'.
"Yeah but- NO MY MUSTACHE!" Dev quickly put his webbed hand over his mouth, staring at Kier like he had just committed a heinous crime right in front of him.
Kier smirked and let Dev go, sitting back down where he previously had been. Kier might end up regretting kissing Dev only to get him to shut up and speak English and not French.
"Why did you kiss me? Are you feeling romantic attraction towards to me? wait- EEW!" Dev swam backwards, glaring at his best friend, Kier.
"What- NO!" Kier objected to Dev's assumption, he wasn't attracted to Dev. He was making Dev speak English. And taking away his mud-stache of course.
"YOU JUST KISSED ME! YOU SAID KISSING IS WHAT LOVERS DO TO SHOW AFFECTION!" Dev shouted, still glaring at his best friend, Kier.
"NO, I WAS TRYING TO GET YOU TO SHUT UP!" Kier shouted back, covering his flustered face behind his clawed hands.
Dev calmed down slightly, "screw you, Kier.." he dived down underwater with a splash of his tail.
Kier moved his hands from his face and watched Dev closely. Even after Dev's bright blue and silver scales were surrounded by the dark blue sea.
"Dev come back!" He shouted, spreading his wings to create a shadow in the water.. or maybe to see his reflection and look at his wingspan. "Dev! Dev! Dev! Dev! Dev! Dev!" Kier said annoyingly.
Dev lunged at Kier from the water, pinning him to the ground.. or was he? Dev laid down on Kier, burying his face into Kier's neck.
"What the hEll are you doing?" Kier asked, wrapping an arm around Dev's neck. He rubbed Dev's shoulder with his thumb softly.
Dev didn't respond. He only purred softly. Like a cat purring on its owner's chest. Calming and sweet.
Kier's face went a pink-red color, blushing once more. It's not like Kier was romantically attracted to his best friend. It was purely platonic.
"Beau Kier.." Dev said softly and playfully.
"WH- NO!" Kier started to squirm and try to push the 11'3 sea serpent off of him. But to no avail it hadn't worked.
"Beau Kier.. Beau Kier I want you.." Dev kept pulling himself closer to Kier despite how many times he was pushed away.
"NO! AAAAAAAAAAAA!!" Kier screamed and kept squirming, his wings flapping uncontrollably and his tail slashing around like a beginner fighter's sword in a dark cave full of enemies.
Dev's tail wrapped around Kier's legs, restraining them tightly like a boa with its prey. But not tight enough to hurt the fire dragon.
"DEV, PLEASE! IM SORRY!" Kier squealed, only two things ran through his mind. One: Dev wanted to do the devil's tango with him and Two: Dev was about to strangle him.
Dev started laughing, falling back down onto Kier's chest. This caused Kier a lot of confusion.
"Wh-" Kier looked down at Dev, confusion written all over his face.
"You ACTUALLY thought I was being serious?" Dev said while laughing uncontrollably. His tail released Kier's legs, allowing him to move freely.
Kier got mad and pulled away from Dev, crossing his arms. "I hate you." He spoke with an anger coated tone.
Dev smiled and went underwater to soak back up since well- he's not a normal serpent, he's a sea serpent.
When Dev came back out of the water he hugged Kier in a rather comforting way. "I'm sorry Kier" he sounded.. upset??
Kier turned around and hugged Dev back. "It's fine.. just don't do it again, okay?" Dev nodded after Kier spoke.
