chapter 20 "A long journey 2/2"

They had been sailing for a while, and winter was approaching sooner and sooner. If they don't arrive soon they could freeze due to being at sea.

Each member got a job on the boat. Dev caught food, Boosfer skinned it and took off the heads and whatnot, YelloWool took out the organs, and Kier cooked it.

Dev had been swimming around under the boat, searching for a good meal since the group has only been eating small fish since they ran out of the foods Dev had packed.

Kier had been purifying some of the ocean water so it had been safe for everyone to eat

YelloWool was grooming his tail and getting it to be softer while Boosfer helped him.

"Ow! Stop pulling on my tail!" YelloWool exclaimed, glaring down at Boosfer with a mean look.

Boosfer rolled his eyes and kept brushing YelloWools fur with his sharp claws. He smirked before speaking, "I am not pulling on it! I am brushing it but you are not staying still." Boosfer huffed.

YelloWools tail was starting to wag again since the brushing had somewhat made him happier, it had him feel funny. Like a feather tickling your foot.. you hate it but it you laugh for some unknown reason.

YelloWool started giggling, his fluffy coyote tail wagging behind him as he tried to hold back his laugh. Of course his attempt was to no avail.

"Yello!" Boosfer shouted, accidentally pulling on YelloWool's tail so much it caused him to fall back onto the wooden boards of the boat.

"OW! BOOSFER YOU-" YelloWool yelled, sitting up and rubbing the back of his head. His ears were tucked down in pain.

Boosfer sat down on YelloWools stomach, straddling his sides while leaning down to kiss YelloWools lips softly. "I'm sorry." Boosfer whispered in a gentle tone at an attempt to ease yelloWool and calm the coyote down.

YelloWool grabbed Boosfer and hugged him, burying his face into Boosfer's neck out of pain.

Dev climbed back onto the boat, throwing a juvenile shark up on the boat. He transformed back to his land form and got dressed, holding up the lemon shark.

"Guys look!" He exclaimed, holding the shark high up in the air with a grin on his face.

Boosfer, YelloWool, and Kier rushed over, each of their tails wagging in different yet similar patterns.

Boosfer grabbed the shark and started to do what he usually did, but he decided to keep the fins and tail for later digestion. He had also decided that the skin would be able to stay on.

Boosfer passed the shark over to YelloWool who carved a line down the stomach, removing the organs. He only ate the heart and nothing else since he had to save stomach space for the main meal.

YelloWool rolled the shark to Kier after cutting it into pieces with an old great sword Dev had found laying on the ocean floor the day before.

Kier cooked the shark one piece by one. He made sure it was cooked evenly and thoroughly.

The four friends feasted, grateful for finally eating something that wasn't a stupid small fish.

After eating they all decided to play a nice game of truth or dare.

"Dev! Truth or dare?" Boosfer asked with a cheeky smirk on his wyvern face. His dark green eyes peered into Dev's.

"Hm." Dev thought for a second, looking down at the wood below him. "Dare." Dev grinned, his powder blue tail moving closer to the water.

Boosfer giggled, already knowing what he's gonna make Dev do. "I dare you to sit on Kier's lap."

Kier's eyes widened. "WHAT?!" He yelled, looking over at Boosfer like Boosfer was a fucking dumbass. "HE IS GOING TO CRUSH M-" Kier was cut off by his face being smooshed into Dev's back.
