"There you go and baby, here am I.
Well you, left me here so I could, sit and cry.
Well, Golly gee what have you, done to me?
Well I guess it doesn't matter anymore."

- Buddy Holly

Grayson's perspective

"Drake! What is wrong with you?!?" I yelled in fury.
"Grayson, it was very lucid." He said in defense.
"I don't care! Lucid or not, there is no reason for you to have acted like that towards Samuel!" I continued.

"Grayson! I'm telling you; I saw Armen." He said, still trying to make me believe that what he'd said was true.
"Drake, It's a dream." I said, irritated that Drake still couldn't just let Armen go.
"Now stay here and think about what you did." I said furiously.

"Wait! Grayson! No!" Drake protested, as I opened the door out of the bedroom.
"Mia, keep him here. I'm going to talk to Samuel." I spoke.
"GRAYSON!" Drake yelled one last time in defiance, as Mia held him back.
"I'm going whether you want me to or not." I said sternly.
With that, I walked out and closed the door behind me.

Samuel was sitting in one of the dilapidated kitchen chairs, facing the kitchen window.
"Hey, Samuel, you alright?" I asked

"I'm surprised you actually care." He responded back coldly.

"Samuel?" I said, trying to get another response.
But Samuel simply ignored me, keeping his gaze on the outside world.

"Samuel look, I- I'm sorry, Drake he-, he doesn't normally act like this..." I said, attempting to make an apology.
"I don't know what's gotten into him." I added
Samuel got up out of his chair and slowly walked towards the door, avoiding eye contact.
"Samuel?" I said again

"Don't talk to me." He said coldly as he opened the door.

"Samuel, wha-? No, Samuel, wait!" I called out as I speed walked towards him
But I was too late.
He angrily slammed the door behind him as he left.
An eerie silence echoed throughout the house...
