The X5 Exosuit, made from nanotechnology propelled the art of battle and war thousands of years into the future. Once bonded to a human host, it grants them abilities such as heightened senses, strength, speed, regeneration, and the ability to manipulate a mysterious energy not even the creator of the X5 Exosuit's fully understands.

And who might the creator of the X5 Exosuit user be? Well, it is none other than a man by the name of Victor Van Helgard. A man with profound scientific aptitude capable of creating nearly anything. A man who was once a member of Apocalyptic Returning and that still held quite an emotional connection to his old friends.

Victor stood still, examining the hologram that played back the death of Deadeye. At the same time two mechanical arms connected to the back of his exosuit tinkered with a mass of nanotechnology. After examining the death of his friend from every angle, Victor waved his hand and the hologram faded away.

After Victor raised his hand and ran it through his blond hair, an Exosuit user appeared out of the darkness behind him. This exosuit user had a silver exosuit with black energy running through it. Without a word the exosuit user walked up behind Victor and waited for a command to come from him.

But no command came for a long time as Victor simply stood there, the aura of yellow energy fluctuating violently around him. Turning his wrist over, he pressed a holographic button. The wall behind him then started to crack and shift apart into a doorway. This doorway led into a long white hallway with square windows lining each side.

A scornful grimace formed on Victor's face as he walked down the hallway. The first window he passed looked into a basic white room with a floating box in the middle. Another window showed the inside of a similar room with a vial of blood floating in the middle. Then there was another window that peered into a massive room with a forest inside of it.

Then only a couple feet later there was another window that showed into a room with an exosuit user standing inside. This exosuit user had a silver exosuit with purple energy running through it. "Victor!" She called out as Victor passed by. "Victor, stop...please, you know you can't do this."

Her cries caused Victor to stop dead in his tracks. "You can't interfere with them." Responding with only a blank stare, Victor kept walking. "You're letting your emotions get the better of you. Why can't you understand. You are like a god to them. It would be like an adult participating in a children game."

"You promised to leave them be." After the exosuit user said this, Victor stopped again, this time for good. "You said that with your interference they wouldn't be able to properly grow. That you can't shelter a child their whole life and expect them to grow up." Jumping up to the glass, she looked down the hallway at the back of Victors head.

"You said it yourself." She informed. "They will never grow as long as you keep babying them every time they "fuck up".

After a deep sigh, Victor wiped his hand across his face, his grimace disappearing behind his hand. "DAMNIT!" He screamed after a long pause. A few moments later a man in a white lab coat exited the elevator at the end of the hall. The man walked hurriedly down the hallway to Victor and stopped in front of him.

"Sir" The man handed Victor a clipboard with a single paper on it.

Staring down at the photo in shock, Victor took a step back. Placing his palm on the picture of an old man, a small wave of energy disintegrated the picture and clipboard. It looked as if he was about to say something, but he quickly shut himself up. Instead, he strolled past the man, down the hallway and into the elevator.

Following behind Victor was the exosuit user with black energy. They had not spoken a single word the whole elevator ride and remained quiet as Victor became lost with his own thoughts. Although, something like losing yourself in your own thoughts became quite common for the man who could think multiple times faster than the average human.
