Chapter twenty one

Y/n was sitting peacefully with Vergilia on the windowsill, when his pager buzzed. He told her that he was needed, and she nodded in acknowledgement. Vergilia told him to be careful, which made him smile lightly. She always made sure to let him know she cared for him. He ran to the location he was called to and noticed the full on fight. He didn't waste any second before he jumped in the fight and helped Hibari and his team to separate the nine fighting students.

-What the hell happened here? - Y/n asked Hibari. Now, that he had a moment to take look at the participants, he noticed Levi from his class among them.

-They didn't find it important enough to explain themselves. - Hibari answered. - All of you, off to my office. - he commanded.

The fighting group and the members of the Disciplinary Committee followed Hibari to his office. One by one was explaining why they were fighting. Whenever someone was talking, the others tried to shout over them or cause another ruckus. Y/n finally got angry and whacked the loudest one on the back of his head.

-Shut the hell up. - he said, tone not allowing for opposing. - Let him speak, you had your chance. - then he moved his attention to Levi. - So?

-That moron got into his head that I was flirting with his girlfriend and didn't take in the fact that it wasn't true. - Levi said, his arms crossed against his chest.

-And then they jumped on you all together? - Hibari concluded.

-Correct. - he nodded.

-I think all of you have too much energy. - said Hibari. - Perhaps participation in the penalty training led by my team will help you burn it off. Ackerman of course didn't do anything, so he is off the hook.

They all started to argue, but Hibari only doubled their punishment, shutting them up. Y/n started considering other thing. Levi was able to fight against eight guys. He could make a good addition to the Committee, which is something he suggested to Hibari once they were alone.

-You know you will run the Committee in three weeks, since I'm graduating. - said Hibari. - You will enroll him.

-Understood. - Y/n nodded.

-You're free to go. - Hibari allowed him to leave.

Y/n bowed and left Hibari's office. The break was already over unfortunately. He went to the classroom he assumed he had the next lesson in, he didn't really remember his schedule. He never did. He opened the door and it turned out that his assumption was correct.

-Sorry I'm late, Committee business. - he said, before he took his spot. The teacher didn't question him further. Y/n decided to take a nap.

Time skip

After school Y/n went to Vergilia's house. It became their usual ritual, either for studying, or just to spend some time together. Usually they were laying on her bed, cuddling and talking. Y/n was falling for her more and more with every second he spent in her arms. He never thought he would need the closure like this, but once he had it, he wouldn't allow anyone to take it away from him.

-I love you. - he said, without really thinking.

It only occurred to them what he said after it happened. Vergilia smiled at him and nuzzled her face further in his neck.

-It's the first time you said that. -she said. - And I love you too. More than you can imagine.

-I'm absolutely crazy about you. - Y/n sighed in content, before he kissed her forehead.

-I know. - she answered.

-We will have to finally introduce you to my mother. - Y/n muttered. - As much as I would prefer to keep you away from her, her teasing and inappropriate cringy comments.

-It will be okay. - Vergilia reassured.- We can't avoid knowing our families, if we plan on being together.

-You're right. - Y/n nodded, then smiled, as Vergilia moved on top of him. He placed his hands on her thighs. - This is a dangerous position, you know?

-I can only imagine the things that are going through you head right now. - she smirked.

-You are fully aware of the things you do to me and you like it. - Y/n chuckled.

-Indeed, I like the influence I have on you, love. - Vergilia said, before she kissed Y/n's lips.
