Usual routine, I woke up around 9 am, and went downstairs to find something to eat, after eating a banana I went to the bathroom and washed my face and teeth before going to the living room,

"Yo there Machi." Shalnark said with a bright and excited smile,

"Hi there Shal, the boss wants you, he should be in the library." She replied barely looking at him,

"Oh, ok." He simply said as he turned around and went to the library, the old spiders hideout in Meteor city what a wonderful place,

"Boss?" Shal asked,

"Oh Shal, I wanted to ask you if you had a way of fixing my phone." He said as he tossed Shalnark the phone,

"Maybe, I'll have to search at the underground metals and tech market, this kind of stuff is hard to come by here." Shalnark explained as Chrollo slowly nodded as he waved turned around, but before he could walk out of the room, Chrollo spoke again,

"Shal, about that kid, do you really think that he's worth our time." The boss asked,

"He might, I can't tell for sure, and I can't make that choice." Shalnark explained,

"I understand, but I trust your instincts, if you say so I'll take a closer look, what was his name?" Chrollo articulated with a soft tone and an almost confused look,

"Tenshi they call him Tey, he's often mauling people in the pit for money, like Phinks and Uvo used to, and he trains at Kato's gym." Shalnark explained before leaving the room,

It was just a thought he wasn't sure of it himself, he just had this feeling this weird sensation about that kid, Shalnark noticed him once and remained pleasantly surprised by his performance at the pit, and by how that young and graceful kid carried himself afterwards, he really didn't have the vibe of a brute, and after that day he found himself crossing paths with him without even realizing it, at the music market, the clocktower, the metro once when Shal was with Feitan Phinks and Uvo, he tried to not think much of it but he found himself noticing the same kids everywhere lately, when Nobunaga wanted to see a muay thai tournament and Shalnark tagged along and noticed the same kid again, he was already qualified so he wasn't fighting that evening and was there as a spectator waiting to find his next opponent but Shalnark even if almost by mistake, was able to notice him, and he could tell that it was because the kid had some kind of special aura around him, even Nobu drifted his attention towards the kid a couple of times without even realizing it, Shalnark did some research, and a couple of months passed by, he even once saw the kid steal a diadem from a high caliber merchant with guards, and not get chaght, 'truly a skilled thief' he thought.
That simple hunch was probably fate at work, Shalnark never told Tenshi anything about it afterwards but he felt like as if they were almost linked, during that period Tenshi was at his most active and passionate about his life, he was more easygoing and felt particularly inspired.

IN THE MEANTIME SOMEWHERE CLOSER TO THE SLUMS

"Oh how it is to be in love." Cara commented,

"What are you talking about exactly?" Tenshi asked taken aback,

"I smell something different in you." She pointed out,

"So I should get a new flower then." He pointed out,
as he lowered his head taking a closer look,

"This one is perfect." He said as he chose a purple tulip and carefully examined the mixture of different rich fragrances,

"Grapefruit peel, vetiver, brandy, incense." She explained as he deeply inhaled,

"I get some black pepper as well." He commented and Cara nodded proudly,
