My Captain

Chapter 11

Sophie came out of the shower with a sports bra on and her England tracksuit bottoms looking at her sleeping with a smile on her face 'Leah' she said shaking her

She groaned and rolled over going back to sleep 'if you don't get up no kisses' she said at the blonde opened her eyes with a mock glare 'you wouldn't' she said 'Oh I would' she said she said as she pecked her lips before pulling on her England T-shirt 'just keep it off' Leah said with a small pout. Sophie laughed 'you want everyone else looking?' She said  Leah laughed 'ok keep it on' she said as she got herself sorted

Sophie looked and smiled down at her phone and soon enough they were driving to SJP singing along to the radio Sophie kept her hand on Leah's Thigh the whole journey 'were neatly there' she said

Sophie nodded gently 'Ok' she said softly as they pulled in and parked up  she got out of the car and stretched letting out a soft yawn.

They walked in together and went to the meeting room where most majority of the players were and sat down. Sophie missed the contact and she was getting nervous and played with her fingers Leah looked at her and frowned softly before taking a deep breath and taking her hand gently 'Relax' she said softly.  Sophie calmed down a little squeezing her hand and nodding 'will do Captain' she said

Leah rolled her eyes as they went to the chill room She went and sat on the bean bags and put her headphones in as the rest socialised  

'Hey Leah where's your girl at?' Beth asked Leah rolled her eyes softly 'She's not my girl' she said 'she's on the bean bags she's a bit nervous last time she played for England wasn't a good time for her'
Beth looked at her 'What happened?' She asked  leah looked at her 'I don't know she hasn't said' Beth nodded 'probably something to do with management back then' she said looking at the girl 'She will be fine' she said 'As soon as she gets a ball at her feet' she said

Sophie walked past them and went to the pitch and juggled a ball with a small smile on her face.

Sarina went to her after watching for a bit 'How are you feeling?' She asked  Sophie took her earphones out 'A tad nervous but I'm all good' she said looking at her 'If you don't want to talk it's fine' she said 'Bit what happened last time' she said looking at her player.

Sophie sat down on the grass 'Neville didn't know how to field a team ' she said 'he'd always play the young ones with hardly no experience then blamed me if we lost blaming me because I couldn't score' put me in a really shitty place to the back that I nearly chose to join Ireland' she said

Sarina nodded gently and looked at her 'I get that' she said softly 'I won't do that I like to play a mixture ' she said 'both together so the younger ones can get experience'  Sophie nodded and smiled 'I will look forward to it then' she said as they shook hands

Sophie went back inside and went to Leah with a small smile feeling a lot better as she looked around the players with a happy sigh.
