Next was the game against Japan. They were working hard in training Mary and the other keepers were recovered. They were doing one on ones attackers against defenders so naturally she was paired with Leah. 'I have a proposal' Leah said Sophie looked wide eyed with a smirk on her face 'Babe it's far too early' she said Leah let out a loud laugh 'Ok jackass not that type of proposal. A bet if you will seen as this first ti three if I win you have to take me out for dinner' Sophie smirked and nodded 'Ok and if I win I want dessert' whispered with a smirk as she kissed her cheek pulling back.

Leah smirked at her as Sophie returned the smirk and trained in her sports bra as she got the first goal in Leah shook her head with a smirk 'That's cheating' she said as Sophie let out a laugh 'Not if you do it too' she said with a wink as Leah got her first goal in. They carried on and it was 2-2 the rest of the team were watching concentration on both of their faces was immense they both wanted to out do the other. It was about another five minutes before Sophie got the goal in with a smirk and a wink 'Sorry babe' she said as they went to get lunch she enjoyed the pasta she had 'you know if you wanted me to take you out to dinner all you had to do was ask' she said as Leah laughed 'I know that... but I know you prefer to cook but then that means dishes and cleaning up ' she said with a small shrug. 'Well I'll take you out to dinner tonight if you would like dress smart ' she said as she got up to get a drink as she made reservations on her phone.

A bit later Sophie was I. The bathroom getting ready putting on a small bit of make up and walked out looking at Leah earring one of her famous suits 'well we can skip dinner' she said looking at her 'nope don't even try it's Leah said with a smile we all know what happens when we start kissing we never make it anyways and I didn't spend all this time getting g dressed up' she said sophie laughed with a smile and opened the door 'too true but it's not my fault your gorgeous' she said as she took her hand with a smile walking to the restaurant 'Reservation' for Sophie' she said as they walked in and was shown to their table. 'Did I do good?' She asked
Leah looked and nodded 'I've always wanted to come here for the longest time even when I was with Jordan but she preferred to have take away as a date night' she said Sophie gave a small nod looking at the menu guess we're not drinking with the match tommorow so water? She asked Leah as she nodded. Sophie smiled and ordered the hunters chicken with chips and Leah ordered the same with a small smile.

'This is nice' Sophie smiled as Leah nodded. Sophie looked at her 'I wanted to give you something' she said looking at her Leah looked at her raising an eyebrow as Sophie reached into her pocket and brought out a ring box. 'It's not an engagement ring' she he said getting slightly nervous 'it's a promise ring' she said opening it 'it's a promise to keep loving you even when we hate each other' she said to keep faithful to you and to someday change that for an engagement ring' she said biting her lip gently' Leah looked at her with tears in her eyes 'Do I have to put it on myself?' She asked Sophie shook her head 'No I can do that' she said looking at her and slipped it onto her finger kissing it softly
