"Raven! I'm back!" Apple called, as she entered the dorm she shared with Raven.
Raven, unsuspecting of Apple's return, was still lying on her bed with the photograph.
Raven panicked and scrambled off of her bed, falling onto the floor, and shoving the photograph under her bed.
"Hey, Apple!" Raven yelled, springing up from behind the bed.
Apple flashed that sweet smile of hers at Raven, making Raven internally swoon.
"Here's your coffee!" Apple sang, handing Raven the perfectly made coffee.
Raven sat down on her bed with the coffee "Thank you Apple, you're a lifesaver."
"Of course! Anything for one of my best friends" Apple said, jumping onto the bed next to Raven.
Apple quickly zoned out, admiring raven's features. Apple scooted behind Raven and started to play with her partially knotty hair.
"Can I do your hair?" Apple asked, without thinking. Normally, when Apple would ask to do ravens hair (which was usually) Raven would immediately decline, but, this time, something inside of her told her to say yes.
"Sure"
"Great!" Apple cheered, excited that Raven finally accepted.
Apple grabbed Raven's hairbrush from the bedside table and started brushing through her hair. Once all of the knots were gone, Apple began running her fingers through Raven's black and purple hair whilst grabbing a hair tie. Apple then started weaving Raven's hair into a braid.
She's so pretty... Apple thought, admiring Raven's silky hair.
Once Apple finished braiding, she swiftly grabbed Raven's signature spiked headband and placed it on her head.
"All done!" Apple cheerfully called. She pulled Raven onto her feet, making her look at her vanity mirror.
"Wow...it's nice. Thanks, Apple!" Raven said, pulling her friend in for a hug. They both blushed at this sudden movement since Raven had done that without thinking about her actions.
Eventually, they pulled away, both looking at the clock.
"We still have an hour until first period, and you never studied for that crownculus test today," Apple said with a smirk.
Raven smiled back, silently accepting Apple's offer to study.
"Alright, where should we start?" Apple asked, dragging Raven to her desk.
