"I would love to"

Those words rang out through the castleteria like a gong. Nobody actually expected Apple to say yes. Not even Raven. Most of the students figured that Apple was just being nice, or Raven was playing a prank on her, or they had tag-teamed to pull off an elaborate joke on the school.

Both the girls meant what they said. Both of them wanted this. Both of them had been wanting this for a while. Raven thought that there wasn't a light at the end of the tunnel. She was about to buckle and break from the pressure of graduation approaching the blackmail, and her out-of-control feelings for her roommate, but in this silent moment, with Apple's warm eyes looking into hers, all seemed right.

Raven soon came to the realization that when the dust settles, it will all be worth it.

With all of their conflicted opinions and immense confusion, the students began to mutter about the sudden change between the polar opposite girls. Anyone would be confused, They disagreed in many ways, but this new, sudden, feeling of affection towards each other could be a major benefit for both the Royals and Rebels.

Eventually, after a few moments of deafening silence, the castleteria gradually returned to its usual noise and soon forgot about the new couple. Raven kissed Apple's cheek and went back over to her table with Cerise and Maddie while her face burned a maroon shade. Apple and Ashlyn and Briar giggled and fawned over the flowers and how sweet Raven was, while Cerise and Maddie teased Raven and excitedly joked with her, flooding her with dozens of "I told you she would say yes" and "about time" s and "I'm so proud of you"'s.

Across the castleteria, sat a stunned Cupid and Blondie. The two silently stared between Apple and Raven, a look of shock on their faces, until Blondie finally broke the silence

"We did that, didn't we?"

Cupid looked back at Blondie, knowing that no matter how much she tried to reach her brain, she wouldn't be able to find an argument.

"I guess we did."

With a sigh, Blondie said the word she hadn't wanted to say for the entire time they had been trying to break the two up.

"I guess we really should let it go."

A soft smile crossed Cupid's face as she gently held onto Blondie's hand.

"I'm proud of you."

Cupid and Blondie smiled and kissed, the weight of breaking up the two finally off of their shoulders. They knew that Raven and Apple would be able to figure it out.

But while Blondie and Cupid let it go easily, the blackmailers didn't. They sat in the corner of the castleteria, silently glaring at the rest of the students.

"That didn't work. I thought she would surely give it up because of the situation"

"Maybe we're the ones who need to give it up."

The second blackmailer glared at the first one, slamming a fist down on the table.

"No. We aren't."

The first blackmailer, getting agitated (per usual), glared at the second, agitation in their voice.

"Well, what do you suggest we do, smartass?!?"

"We put an end to their story-"

A sickening, evil grin crossed the second blackmailer's face as they stared between Raven and Apple.

"Once and for all."
