On her way to the practice room, Yunchae took a quick detour to the cafeteria as she couldn't help but crave her favourite drink, ice tea. With her signature drink in hand, she continued her walk to the practice room, knowing the drink would give her a burst of energy.

As Yunchae strolled through the hallway, she walked past Haechan, accompanied by Jeno and Yangyang. As their paths crossed, Yunchae, without much thought, looked up, only to find herself making eye contact with Haechan. To her surprise, he wore a mischievous smirk as if he knew something she didn't.

Turning away, she couldn't help but watch Haechan's retreating figure. The encounter left her with a mix of curiosity and confusion. But then again, it was Haechan they were talking about.

Shaking off what just happened, Yunchae distracted herself by scrolling through Instagram as she continued her walk to the practice room. The hallway had become so familiar that she didn't even have to look up.

Yunchae could hear squeals and chatter as she walked to the couch in the room, but being so used to all the noise, she's learnt to ignore the excess sound, paying attention just to her phone screen. Placing her stuff on the couch, she heard her name being called, causing her to lift her gaze.

"Yunchae, umm... I think you're gonna be late to practise," a voice broke her trance.

"What do you mean?" Yunchae questioned, realisation dawning as she registered the unfamiliar surroundings.

Yunchae looked around, only to find unfamiliar faces in the room. This wasn't her practice room; it belonged to NCT.

"Sorry!" she squealed before running out the door.

"These kids, so addicted to their phones."

"I know, right?" Mark replied, playfully eyeing Jisung, who looked up from his phone, somewhat offended.

"Excuse me!" Jisung retorted.

Rehearsing over the moves, beads of sweat traced a path down Yunchae's forehead. Despite it being a freezing night, the energetic choreography quickly warmed up Yunchae. Looks like there was no need for a hoodie. Yunchae inwardly scoffed. She didn't even have her favourite one with her.

Focusing on the dance break, Yunchae started the music, aiming to fine tune every step in it. Immersed in dancing, she paid little to no attention to her surroundings, making mental notes for areas to improve.

However, her concentration was broken abruptly when she heard the sound of a door shutting. Yunchae instinctively looked around, only to find Haechan, casually leaning against the closer door. She didn't even hear him come in!

"What are you doing here?" She asked, the familiar flustered state beginning to return.

"What? Am I not allowed to watch you practise yet you can watch me?" Haechan teased.

Realising she had been caught, Yunchae's pink cheeks turned an even deeper shade of red. She averted her gaze, glancing down at the floor to try and hide her embarrassment.

"Here's your hoodie by the way," Haechan broke the moment by holding out her hoodie.

"Thanks," Yunchae murmured, accepting the hoodie but her gaze still glued to the ground.

"How'd you know it was mine?" Yunchae's curiosity getting the better of her for a short moment.

"Your perfume," Haechan replied nonchalantly, his gaze sweeping the room.

"Huh?" Yunchae asked, wondering if she heard him right.

"Chenle recognised the hoodie. Plus, your hoodie smells exactly like how you always smell," Haechan explained, not thinking too much about his answer.

"How do you know what I smell like? Did you sniff my hoodie?" Yunchae's question left Haechan turning as red as she had been earlier.

"It's not just me. Everyone smells the same scent around you. You can even smell it from a few metres away," Haechan quickly clarified, trying to avoid coming off as a creep.

"Oh. I didn't know it was that strong," Yunchae mumbled.

"It isn't THAT strong. It's pretty subtle, and it's a really nice perfume as well," Haechan added, attempting to ease the conversation.

"Thank you?" Yunchae replied, unsure of how else to respond.

"Anyway, since you seem to have fallen in love with my heavenly voice, let's practise together," Haechan smoothly changed the topic.

"What!?" Yunchae blurted out, caught off guard by the sudden topic change in the conversation.
