"What happened before I walked into the bathroom?" Somi asked as she set two cups of steaming tea on the table. They had just returned from the restaurant, but Minjeong was not talking and seemed to be lost in thought during the entire car ride. "Minjeong!" Somi waved her hands in front of Minjeong to get her attention.

Minjeong snapped back to reality. Somi asked again, "If you didn't walk in, we could've kissed". Minjeong sighed, rubbing her temples.

Somi's eyes widened. "I'm so sorry. I didn't know that", she facepalmed herself. "If I knew you were going to kiss, I shouldn't have come in", she pouted feeling frustrated. She wanted her friends to find happiness, but when she was about to get it, Somi ruined it.

"If we kissed, then our lie is going to be exposed". Little did she know that Jimin knew everything because she overheard Minjeong talking to Ning in the bathroom.

Somi asked Minjeong, "If Jimin fought for you, would you give her a chance?" Minjeong shrugged before giving it some thought and then nodded.

"I would give her a chance," she stated, "but she's probably gone by now after today." Minjeong's eyes were filled with pure sadness as she spoke. "Anyway, thank you, Somi, for everything you've done for me." She smiled at Somi and then stood up, saying "goodnight" as she left for her room because it was getting late and she had classes the next day.

"Goodnight," Somi replied. When she made sure that Minjeong had closed her door, she took out her phone and sent a message to someone with the location of the apartment.

Somi: She leaves at 7 AM make sure to get here early.

Somi: I will leave the spare key under the carpet.

K: got it thank you!

Somi: I just want her to be happy.

Flashback to the restaurant...

As they returned to the table, Minjeong and Somi said goodbye to Ryujin, and Minjeong got inside the car. Just as Somi was about to leave, Jimin grabbed her arm and asked her to stay for a minute to talk in private.

Somi looked at Jimin, puzzled, wondering what she wanted to talk about. Jimin's next words hit her like a ton of bricks, "I know that you and Minjeong are just pretending. I am here to ask for your help."

Somi was taken aback by Jimin's statement and asked, "What kind of help do you need from me?"

Jimin replied with a hint of hesitation in her voice, "I want to be with Minjeong. I like her a lot, and I am tired of being away from her. Can you help me?"

Somi smiled at Jimin's confession and said, "Took you long enough to figure it out. I will help you, but you must promise me that you won't hurt her again."

"I promise I won't even hurt her again. I want to be with her and make her happy," Jimin said with a smile on her face, thinking about the chance of being with Minjeong.

Somi felt a thump in her chest. She liked Minjeong but didn't want to come between her and Jimin. Since Minjeong didn't feel the same way about her, she decided to ignore her feelings and help Jimin and Minjeong be happy "Here is my phone," she said, handing it over to Jimin. "Put your number in, and I'll text you the address and the time you can come over."

As Jimin entered her number into Somi's phone, she couldn't help but feel a bit confused. "But what is your plan?" she asked, hoping that Somi would give her some more information. However, Somi simply smiled and replied, "Don't worry about it, just trust me. Everything will be okay."

Somi simply smiled and replied, "Don't worry about it, just trust me. Everything will be okay Once I get home, I'll text you everything because Minjeong is waiting for me," Somi said with a smirk. "I don't want her to be suspicious of me. Goodbye, Jimin." She waved at Jimin and smiled, but as soon as she was out of his view, she couldn't help but feel heartbroken. her smile returned when she saw Minjeong standing outside the car, waiting for her.

The next morning, Ning woke up feeling happy. Aeri was returning from her trip, and Ning offered to pick her up. She had missed Aeri and was excited to see her. Ning also planned to confess her feelings that day, as they were weighing heavily on her. She needed to get it off her chest and finally tell Aeri how she felt.

She arrived at the airport an hour early and waited eagerly for Aeri's arrival. As soon as the flight number was announced, she stood up and walked to the gate, patiently waiting for passengers to come out, including Aeri.

As her friend Aeri walked out, Ning was struck by her beauty. Her smile turned into a grin, but Ning's thoughts froze as she wondered if Aeri had always been this beautiful or had gotten prettier after her trip. Suddenly, Ning was jolted back to reality when someone crashed into her. It was Aeri, who hugged Ning tightly. Ning hugged her back, almost choking her. Aeri teased Ning, "I was only gone for three days and you're already choking me!" Ning blushed in embarrassment, relieved that Aeri couldn't see her red face.

"I'm sorry I missed you," Ning said as she pulled back and looked at Aeri. Suddenly, Ning had a crazy thought and leaned in closer to Aeri. Before Aeri could react, Ning's lips pressed against hers. Aeri's eyes widened in surprise, and she pushed Ning away lightly. Ning looked at Aeri, her face now frowning, and then quickly realized what she had done. "I am so sorry," Ning said, her face turning red with embarrassment again.

"Ning" Aeri looked at by with a pitying expression. Ning knew what Aeri was going to say, so she felt tears rolling down her cheeks. "Don't cry, please," panicked Aeri and wiped Ning's tears. "There's a cafe near here. How about we go there and talk comfortably?" Aeri offered, and Ning nodded while apologizing once again. She took Aeri's luggage and got into the car.

The air inside the car was heavy with silence. Both Aeri and Ning were unsure of what to say or talk about. They finally reached the cafe and sat down at their table, but the silence continued.

Suddenly, Ning confessed, "I have liked you for a long time, Aeri," and Aeri wasn't surprised, considering Ning had kissed her not too long ago. "I can't keep it to myself anymore," Ning continued, avoiding Aeri's gaze. "I'm sorry about the kiss. I should have known how you would feel before I did it. It was stupid." Ning looked up at Aeri, and Aeri noticed the sadness in her eyes.

"I am truly sorry if I led you into liking me without knowing, but," before she could continue, Ning interrupted her.

"You don't like me in that way." She felt like crying again, but she didn't want to look like a loser in front of Aeri.

"It's not like that it's just," Aeri sighed again. "I never thought of liking you that way, Ning. I just--you are my best friend." Ouch, getting best friend-zoned hurt like hell.

"I hope it doesn't change our friendship now that I've confessed," Ning hoped for Aeri as a girlfriend and the girl she spent her life with, but she didn't want to lose her as a friend.

Aeri smiled and held Ning's hand. "Of course, it won't change anything," she said, and Ning smiled back, despite feeling heartbroken.
