"What?" she asked, when did he ever care where she went?
"Where are you going to?"
"To meet up with Blake."
"Not this fucking shit again."
She was shocked at his response, "Huh?"
"So you're going to carry on being a fucken drunkard once again."
"What does it matter? You are not the one who has to deal with me."
"It was refreshing seeing you sober and your face blossoming."
Julia found his words sweet, yet those words had cut her up too, "Beauty doesn't last forever."
"Doesn't mean that you have to live like this."
"I do, I love this and it's my life, so none of this should bother you."
"Julia go back and change."
She scrunched her face in disbelief,
"Just let her go."
"First time I agree with your lover."
"No."
"What do you mean no?"
"Exactly what I said."
"You can't tell me what to do and how to waste my time."
"Julia......."
"Don't bother with her, she is jus...................."
Alexander got up, and his eyes were blazing, "YOU WILL GO AND FUCKING CHANGE RIGHT NOW!"
His outburst shocked her, and even Ava was taken aback, as she got up and began heading out.
"Ava wait."
She shrugged and began making her way out. She was outside as Ava was taking fast steps. She shook her head and began heading to the car when Alexander lifted her up and slung her over his shoulder.
"Wait, aren't you going to chase after Ava?"
"I will after I leave you in the room."
"What! Do I look like a prisoner to you?"
"More like a child."
She was fuming as he was taking it this far. He left the room and was seated, Julia wondered when he would return.
Half an hour later, Alexander walked back into the room, he looked at her in her nightclub clothes and did not say a word.
He disappeared, returned in his briefs, and sat on the bed typing.
"You don't plan on forcing me to stay in."
"I am."
"So you can go out and I can't?"
"I won't be going out, happy?"
"Don't flatter yourself. I don't want to be with you."
"Sure you don't."
He was annoyingly calm, and that made her want to shake him hard,
"Why are you looking at me like that honey?"
"Are you kidding me right now?"
"You said you wanted my attention, now you have it."
"Thank you but I would rather be elsewhere."
She took off her shoes and sat on the bed, hoping Alexander would fall asleep and she would try to sneak out.
After some time her eyes felt hot and heavy, she resigned and changed into her night dress, climbed into bed, and went to sleep.
