MORNING TIME, JAISALMER

The morning at their palace unfolded in a serene atmosphere. Sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room.
In her room, Kashi awoke to find herself cradled in Abhay's arms. The tranquility of the moment was interrupted only by the soft whispers exchanged between the two.

Attempting to rise, she noticed Abhay tightening his grip, a silent plea for her to linger in their shared warmth.

"It's morning, Hukum Sa." Kashi whispered softly, to which Abhay, still immersed in slumber, responded with a continued embrace, urging her not to disturb their peaceful sleep.

Despite Kashi's attempts to rise, Abhay's affectionate grip persisted. "Kashi, my sleep will be disturbed, don't move." He gently implored.

Yet, Kashi, aware of the morning unfolding around them, softly reminded, "It is already morning." She said, her fingers running through his hairs.

"Hmm, it happens every day," Abhay remarked, returning to slumber.

Intrigued, Kashi pondered for a moment before playfully saying,
"Hey Rana ji, you."

Abhay, catching on, immediately released his grip, and Kashi swiftly sat up and descended from the bed, bursting into laughter. However, her mirth turned to fear, when she realized the door was closed.

"Kashi," Abhay called, approaching her with slow steps.

In response, she singed, "Abhay.." and darted to the washroom, leaving Abhay bemused.

Returning to the bed, he resumed his nap. Meanwhile, Kashi emerged from the bath, finding Abhay still asleep.

She tsk at her husband and delicately arranged her dupatta, and just as she did, her phone went off.
"Hello," she answered.

"How are you, princess?" Vijay from the other side greeted.

"You seem elusive; after so many days, you remembered me." Kashi, a mix of joy and mischievousness, replied.

Unbeknownst to her, Abhay, with his closed eyes, muttered, "Jab isse iski wali mil gyi hai, toh uspe dhyaan kyu nahi deta. Ulta meri wali ke piche pada rehta hai. Chipku kahi ka."
(When he has found his own, why doesn't he pay attention to her? Instead, he keeps sticking around my wife. Quite a clingy fellow.)

"I'm sorry Princess, aapse dur kaise reh sakte hai." Vijay apologized while Abhay made a face and Kashi gigled.
(How can I stay away from you.)

"By the way, we're coming for dinner this evening." Vijay cheerfully added.

"Really, you're coming, Vijay?" Kashi exclaimed with joy.

"Yes, and I also have some good news to share," Vijay replied.

"What's the good news?" She asked, curiousness dripping in her voice.
