Diya woke up in this fancy Victorian mansion, feeling like a million bucks after a good night's sleep. As she stumbled out of bed and made her way to the window, she was greeted by a view that could make a donkey do a double-take! The scenery outside was so breathtaking that even the birds were taking selfies.

As the world wakes up from its slumber, the sun gracefully rises over the horizon, spreading a warm and enchanting golden light all around. The gardens, meticulously manicured with love and care, are bathed in this enchanting glow, as if inviting Diya to step into a world of magic and wonder.

She made her way to the balcony of the Victorian house where she was staying and was awestruck by the stunning view in front of her. The mountains that surrounded the house were shrouded in a thick blanket of icy cold fog, which made the entire landscape look like something out of a fairy tale. The fog had settled on the trees and the grass, and even the air around her felt cold and crisp.

As she stood there, taking in the serene beauty of the morning, she heard the faint sound of birds chirping around the house. The birds seemed to be waking up from their slumber and were greeting the new day with their sweet melodies. The sound of the birds mixed with the quietness of the morning made Diya feel like she was in a different world altogether.

The combination of the stunning view and the peaceful surroundings gave her goosebumps. She felt like she was in a dreamland, and for a moment, she forgot about everything else and just stood there, taking it all in.

As Diya was anxiously preparing for the day ahead, her phone buzzed with a message from Tabitha. Amid her nerves, the text brought a much-needed boost of support and encouragement. With renewed determination, Diya set out to investigate the mysterious circumstances surrounding the old house that had been passed down to her from her grandmother.

Diya's curiosity was piqued by Emily Brown's story and the events leading up to her death in the house. She was surprised to see that there was no trace of Emily's photographs anywhere in the house. Diya remembered Emily mentioning that the letter she wrote was supposed to be sent to a lawyer named Mr Baxter, but it was never delivered due to some unfortunate incident.

Diya wondered what could have happened to Emily's letter, and why it was never sent. She couldn't help but feel that there was more to Emily's story than she knew. As she explored the house, she tried to piece together the missing details of Emily's life and untimely death.

Despite her best efforts, however, Diya could find no answers to her questions. The mystery surrounding Emily's death remained unsolved, and the letter to Mr. Baxter remained missing. But Diya was determined to uncover the truth about Emily's life and to honour her memory in any way she could.

"What was the reason she couldn't send the letter to Mr. Baxter, the lawyer?"

Overcoming her doubts and curious to learn more about her own family history, Diya briskly made her way to the nearby library in the quaint town. The only thing she knew about her grandmother was her name - Emily Brown. Eager to uncover more about this mysterious family member, Diya scoured the library in search of any information that would shed light on Emily's life and her place in the family tree.

As she stepped through the heavy oak doors of the library, a familiar fragrance filled her senses. It was the smell of old parchment, musty and earthy, yet oddly comforting. With each breath, she felt as though she was being transported back in time, to a world where books were the only escape from reality.

With a sense of eagerness pulsing through her veins, Diya made her way towards the reference section at a brisk pace. Her heart was pounding in anticipation, and she could feel a tingle of excitement building up inside her. As she approached the shelves, she couldn't help but notice the old, forgotten books that lined them, their bindings worn and faded with age. She knew that somewhere among those pages lay the answers to her questions, waiting to be discovered.

Diya searched every nook and cranny of the library with unwavering determination, hoping to uncover any information regarding Emily Brown. She meticulously flipped through countless pages, scanning every paragraph and sentence with utmost care, in search of even the faintest clue that could aid her in her quest. The hours ticked by as she combed through book after book, her attention undeterred. However, despite her tireless efforts, a sense of doubt slowly began to creep into Diya's mind, leaving her uncertain of whether she would be able to find the answers she was looking for.

"What if she never found anything about her grandmother? What if Emily's story had faded away, lost amongst the annals of time?"

She asked librarians for help, but they too did not know of her grandmother's existence. When her search had reached a discouraging low, Diya stumbled upon a small, weathered book hidden behind a larger volume. The title was barely visible, but the words "The Untold Adventures of Emily" caught her eye. Tentatively, she opened the book and immediately found herself captivated by the first sentence.

"Why is her diary in the library? Was it intentional? How did no one know?"

With a sudden burst of adrenaline, Diya's hand shot out and snatched the diary from the desk. She quickly shoved it into her bag, taking care to keep her movements silent. Slowly and cautiously, she tiptoed out of the library, making sure that no one noticed her. Her bag was firmly secured against her back, and she couldn't wait to get back to her old Victorian house to finally read the diary. The anticipation was almost too much to bear as she imagined the secrets and stories that lay within its pages.

Despite her earnest efforts to uncover the truth, Diya was completely unaware of the fact that there existed certain individuals who were intentionally opposed to exposing the dark secrets of the house and its association with the infamous White Devil. These shadowy figures were vigorously searching for a diary that held the key to the past, and unknown to Diya, she was walking straight into harm's way.

As she walked through the vibrant garden of the house, she held her small, brown leather bag securely in her hand. The bag featured a delicate floral pattern and had a silver clasp that glimmered in the sunlight. The gentle breeze carried the sweet fragrance of the flowers, making her feel calm and at peace. She tightened her grip on the bag, feeling grateful for its presence as she continued her walk back to the mansion.

As she stepped inside the house, she quickly made her way towards the spacious hallway and made sure to lock the doors behind her. She rushed up the stairs to her room, where she reached into her bag to retrieve a precious possession, Emily's diary. Setting her bag down, she sat on her cosy bed and eagerly flipped through the pages of the diary, soaking up every word and memory it held.
