As the sun slowly descended toward the horizon, casting a golden hue across the sky, the surrounding landscape was bathed in a warm and tranquil glow. The shadows grew longer, and the air became cooler, signaling the end of another day. The chirping of birds gradually faded away, replaced by the sounds of crickets and other nocturnal creatures emerging from their hiding places.

With her heart beating fast, Diya couldn't wait to unravel the secrets that lay hidden within its walls, secrets that had been passed down for generations. Her mind was buzzing with excitement as she carefully jotted down every detail, ensuring that nothing was missed. With a sense of determination, she saved all the information on her laptop, knowing that it was crucial to keep it safe.

With trembling hands, she began to type everything she had seen, making sure to take note of the symbols, intricate drawings, mysterious alphabets, and numbers that adorned the walls of the basement. She was determined not to miss even the slightest detail that could unlock the secrets of the mansion.

As she was typing away, completely engrossed in her work, she was jolted by a sudden and unexpected knock on her door. The sound startled her so much that she almost fell off the bed along with her laptop. She was shocked to see her friend Tabitha standing at the door, appearing completely out of the blue.

"Tabitha asked Diya, "Sorry to disturb you dear, but I'm ordering pizza for dinner. Would you like to join me?"

Diya, who was busy with her laptop, replied, "Sure, Tabitha. Why don't you order it first, and I'll join you later?"

Tabitha couldn't help but feel a nagging suspicion about Diya's sudden change in behavior that night. Despite her doubts, she decided to let it go and not push the matter any further. As she quickly agreed with Diya and closed the door behind her once again, a sense of unease lingered in the back of her mind.

Diya quickly got off the bed and rushed to the door. She twisted the lock on the doorknob and double-checked to make sure that the door was securely locked. With a sense of urgency, she nodded her head in satisfaction and immediately went back to working on her laptop.

Tabitha was startled when she heard the sound of the bedroom door being locked from the inside. She felt a sudden unease and wondered whether Diya was hiding something from her. Her mind raced with thoughts of what could be happening behind the closed door. Despite her doubts, Tabitha tried to shake off her suspicions and went downstairs to the kitchen to check her phone.

As Brian entered the kitchen, he decided to make himself a steaming cup of hot drink. While he was preparing his drink, he noticed Tabitha standing nearby and asked if she had any dinner plans. In response, Tabitha agreed to take care of ordering dinner for Brian and Diya, letting them know she had it covered.

Brian proposed to Tabitha that they should go out for dinner rather than spend the evening inside the grand mansion. After a brief moment of consideration, she agreed that it was a splendid idea. Tabitha didn't want to interrupt Diya, who was engrossed in her laptop upstairs, so she resolved not to inform her about their plans. She placed her phone back into her pocket and departed the mansion with Brian for dinner.

Tabitha and Brian stepped out of the grand mansion, leaving Brianne behind in her room, hooked up to various wires and machines. Meanwhile, Diya was sitting in another room, typing away on her laptop. The chilly night air brushed against their cheeks, and Tabitha's long, flowing hair swayed gently in the breeze. As they walked down the street, Brian noticed that Tabitha looked a bit cold, so he offered her his jacket. Tabitha felt a pang of guilt as she took the jacket from him, knowing that he was now the one who would be feeling the chill and wind on his bare skin.

Tabitha looked at Brian with concern and asked, "Are you sure you'll be alright?"

Brian nodded and smiled, but then he paused, "Tabi, I need to tell you something."

Tabitha replied, "Sure, what is it Brian?" with an innocent smile.

Brian hesitated for a moment and then said, "I just don't know how to start."

Tabitha placed a hand on his arm, "It's okay, take your time. We can talk about it whenever you are ready."

Brian looked at her with gratitude and suggested, "Let's go get some dinner first, shall we?"

Tabitha smiled and nodded, "Sounds good to me. We can talk about it over dinner."

As Tabitha and Brian walked into the cozy little pizza café, Tabitha couldn't help but chuckle at Brian's cute reaction. They took a seat opposite each other, and as Tabitha began to scan the menu in front of her, Brian couldn't ignore the butterflies in his stomach. He knew he had to tell Tabitha how he felt about her, but he didn't want to ruin the mood by bringing it up too quickly. Brian quickly grabbed the menu in front of him and pretended to be engrossed in it, hoping it would make him feel less awkward.

Tabitha and Brian sat across from each other, poring over the menu, trying to decide what to order. After a few minutes, they settled on the same meal that night. As the waiter whisked away their order, Brian's nerves began to get the best of him. He knew he had to tell Tabitha how he felt about her, or he would never be able to live with himself. He had been holding back for so long, and the weight of his unspoken feelings was becoming unbearable.

Just then, an idea struck him. He could start by confiding in her about Damon and Brianne's secret meetings after every after-party event. Maybe by sharing someone else's secret, he could find the courage to reveal his own. With a deep breath, he turned to Tabitha, ready to take the first step towards telling her the truth.

Brian's heart was racing as he cleared his throat and summoned the courage to speak up about the affair, but just as he was about to open his mouth, Tabitha's phone rang. The urgency in her voice made him pause. He asked if everything was okay, but Tabitha just shook her head and told him to pack up the food and head back to the mansion. Brian's mind was racing with worry as he wondered what could be so urgent that Tabitha had to cut their conversation short.

Tabitha said she would head back to the mansion first, and he could collect the order and catch up with her later. Brian sighed and nodded his head. He was confused about how he should feel; whether to be concerned about the phone call that made Tabitha panic or disappointed that he couldn't spill the beans about Brianne and Damon's affairs.

As Brian collected the orders from the café, he couldn't help but think to himself, "She deserves to know, she deserves better."
