Caleb clutched a filthy cloth, which seemed to be hiding something suspicious. Diya, taken aback by Caleb's sudden appearance, couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She cautioned him to be careful, warning him that whatever he held in his hands might be dangerous. But Caleb was undeterred, and with a crazed look in his eyes, he slowly began to reveal the contents of the cloth. As the cloth fell away, Diya's heart sank. What Caleb had been hiding was truly terrifying, and she realized too late the danger lurking in the room with them.

As the cloth slowly unfurled, Diya's heart began to race with anticipation. But as her eyes fell upon the object before her, her blood ran cold. The fabric revealed a few strands of hair that were tied together with a simple rubber band, but these were no ordinary hairs. They were dark and matted like they hadn't been washed in weeks. The sight was both horrifying and puzzling, leaving Diya to wonder what kind of twisted game the mansion was playing and what this hair could signify.

"Hey guys, have any of you ever seen one of these before?" Caleb asked curiously, holding the shroud cloth in his bare hands.

"What is it?" Diya inquired with interest.

"It looks like a white cloth with some hair inside it. What is it for?" Tabitha observed the contents of it.

"It's called a shroud, and the hair inside it is known as shroud hair. These shrouds are used in extreme black magic rituals," Caleb explained.

"What kind of black magic rituals?" Diya was curious to know more.

"I've heard about it. It's something really scary and dangerous, right?" Tabitha interrupted suddenly.

"That's right. Shroud hair is a tool that is typically used to bind someone and force them to listen. This practice is often associated with rituals that involve the use of spirits, which demand sacrifices and offerings to be fed," Caleb continued to explain to them.

"Oh my goodness! That's absolutely terrifying! What happens to the poor victim? I can't even imagine," Diya said as she felt her goosebumps crawling out of her skin.

"Yeah, tell us more," Tabitha was curious to know more.

"As time passes, the victim's health begins to deteriorate due to the spiritual attachment and the constant demands for more offerings or they become white monkeys and roam in the mountains," Caleb calmly explained.

Diya's heart skipped a beat as her mind raced with fear and she wondered what had led to resort to extreme black magic during the Victorian era. The thought of what might have happened within those walls sent shivers down her spine, and she couldn't help but feel that something sinister was lurking in the shadows, watching her every move.

"I'm really confused and a bit worried, who could have used this here?" Diya asked with a perplexed look on her face.

As they cautiously walked down the dimly lit hallway of the mansion, an icy chill suddenly swept through the air, causing them to shiver. They could sense that something was not right. The silence was deafening and the only sound they heard was the faint whispers that seemed to be coming from the walls. As they tried to make sense of what was happening, the whispers grew louder and more sinister, causing their hearts to race with fear. Suddenly, a shadowy figure appeared, looming in the darkness, sending chills down their spines. They froze, unable to move, as the figure moved closer and closer, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly intensity.

The dim light flickered along the hallway, casting eerie shadows on the walls. Suddenly, a sinister chuckle echoed through the air, causing Diya to freeze in her tracks. Her heart pounded in her chest as she noticed a shadowy figure slowly creeping across the wall, its movements sending shivers down her spine. As the figure turned its head towards them, Diya felt a cold sweat breaking out on her forehead. The figure came to an abrupt halt, and the silence that followed was deafening. Diya was too petrified to even take a breath, as she could feel the malevolent gaze of the shadowy figure upon them.

Diya's heart was pounding in her chest as she realized with a chill that Emily Brown's mansion was also haunted, just like Mr Manor's mansion. She couldn't shake off the feeling that there was something sinister lurking in the shadows of the mansion, something that went beyond the realm of the living. Her suspicion only grew stronger when she stumbled upon a hidden door in one of the rooms that led to a dark and foreboding space.

The air was thick with an eerie energy, and she could sense that something evil was lurking in the shadows. Diya couldn't help but wonder if the second altar was hidden somewhere down there, used for even more malevolent black magic rituals. The whole situation was perplexing and unsettling, and she couldn't shake off the feeling that she was being watched by something beyond the veil of the living world.

"Hey Caleb, could you take me to the basement again? I need to double-check something," Diya asked as she turned to face Caleb.

"The basement again? I'm a little confused, Diya. What is it that you need to double-check?" Caleb asked, perplexed.

"I just need to make sure of something. It won't take long, I promise," Diya pleaded.

"Okay, I'll take you there. But please, be careful. The basement can be a bit tricky to navigate," Caleb warned Diya with concern.

Diya nodded in agreement as they continued walking. Suddenly, she caught sight of a room with a concealed door that could potentially lead to the basement. Her curiosity got the best of her, and she couldn't resist the urge to take a peek inside the room.

As she tiptoed closer, her heart skipped a beat at the sight before her. A figure, shrouded in a flowing, black wedding gown and veil, was standing motionless by the window, gazing out into the distance with an unwavering stare. The air in the room was heavy with an eerie silence, broken only by the faint sound of the wind rustling the curtains. She couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as if she had stumbled upon something she wasn't supposed to see.

As Caleb walked down the dimly lit hallway, Diya abruptly signalled Caleb to stop. Tabitha, who was walking behind them, was taken aback by their sudden halt. Diya quickly retreated a few steps and whispered to Caleb that she had just seen someone peering through the window of the room they had just passed.

"Why in the world would you do that, Diya?" Tabitha exclaimed, her voice shaking like a leaf in a tornado.

"I'm sorry, Tabitha. I didn't mean to give you a heart attack," Diya replied, looking like a guilty puppy who had just chewed up your favourite pair of shoes.
