Caleb and Tabitha cautiously approached the room, their hearts pounding with fear. The eerie silence engulfed them as they peered inside, but there was no one to be seen. Tabitha breathed a sigh of relief, but Diya was perplexed when she didn't find anyone inside the room. Suddenly, Caleb felt a chilling sensation run down his spine. He knew that they were not alone and that something sinister was lurking in the shadows.

As he looked around, he sensed that the figure Diya had seen was waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Caleb knew that they were in grave danger, and they had to act fast to escape from the entity that knew too much about the mansion and its cursed past.

Caleb's heart pounded with fear as he quickly pulled Diya back from the room, urging Tabitha to follow him. As they left, he felt the temperature in the room drop drastically, and Caleb could feel the hairs on the back of his neck stand up.

It was then that he realized that the shadowy figure that Diya had seen was still lurking in the corner of the room, hidden from view. Despite Caleb's best efforts to remain calm and composed, his entire body was trembling with fear as he knew that he had just witnessed something truly horrifying and otherworldly.

Diya noticed that something was off with Caleb, so she asked him, "Hey Caleb, are you doing alright? You look a bit out of it."

Curiously, Caleb looked back at her and asked, "Do you really feel like going back down to the basement again, Diya?"

Caleb was nervous about Diya disclosing their recent discovery to Brian. Brian was already grappling with the traumatic experience of discovering his girlfriend, Brianne, in a coma upstairs. Caleb believed that keeping quiet about their recent experiences would be the best approach to avoid causing any undue worry to Brian during this difficult time.

"Brian! What a surprise!" Caleb exclaimed as he caught sight of Brian unexpectedly.

Caleb was bouncing around like a kangaroo on a trampoline, and Diya and Tabitha couldn't help but join in with Caleb. They grabbed Brian by the collar and dragged him back towards the hallway like they were apprehending a suspect. After some persuasive pleading, they convinced Brian to stop worrying about Brianne being lifeless upstairs, and instead focus on the task at hand which was to watch a comedy sitcom. Diya's suggestion was met with a round of applause, and they all settled in for a night to unwind their bizarre encounters that day.

Brian felt that it might relieve some of the tension that had been building up within him. The reason behind this was the overwhelming atmosphere of chaos and uncertainty that had engulfed the mansion, contributing to his mental discomfort. Therefore, he believed that indulging in an activity that he enjoyed would help him calm down and unwind.

Looks like the universe was not happy with their choice of sitcom. It went like, "Oh, you guys are watching this? I don't think so." And boom! The electricity went off. Caleb and Diya probably had the same thought and decided to go on a spooky adventure to find candles. I hope they didn't run into any ghosts, but if they did, at least they had each other to hold on to. Meanwhile, Tabitha and Brian on the couch were probably thinking, "Well, this is awkward. Now we have to talk to each other."

Diya's heart raced as she used her phone flashlight to guide Caleb to the kitchen. The power was out and the darkness was suffocating. As they approached the counter, Caleb opened a drawer to find some candles. But in that moment, Diya froze in terror. She saw a dark figure standing beside Caleb, and he didn't even notice. She wanted to scream, but her voice was paralyzed. The figure seemed to be watching them with a menacing gaze, and Diya couldn't shake off the feeling that they were in grave danger.

"Caleb inquired from Diya, 'Diya, do you have any idea how many candles we need?'"

As Caleb turned around to grab the third candle, a feeling of dread crept up his spine. He saw Diya's face, half-melted and dripping onto the kitchen floor. It sent shivers down his spine, and he couldn't help but wonder what other horrors lay in wait for him in that kitchen. The air felt heavy with an ominous presence, and Caleb couldn't shake off the feeling that something sinister was lurking in the shadows, waiting to pounce on him at any moment.

As soon as he saw the face in front of him, he jumped up like a kangaroo on a trampoline and screamed like a little girl. Diya then shook him up like a bartender mixing a cocktail and shone the light on his face as if she were trying to give him a free facial.

"Caleb, pull yourself together!" Diya shouted at him.

It was a terrifying scene, akin to watching a horror movie unfold before your very eyes. Caleb was stumbling around frantically, knocking over dishes as he went. Diya was following him, her heart racing as she realized they were not alone in the house. With each step, she felt like they were getting closer to something ominous, and the tension was palpable.

When they finally made it to the living room, Brian and Tabitha were sitting there, frozen in fear. Diya knew what she had seen in the dark, and it sent shivers down her spine. Caleb's sudden scream had confirmed her worst fears. It was a scene straight out of a horror movie, and she couldn't shake the feeling that something sinister was lurking in the shadows.

Diya wanted Caleb to calm down as she could sense he was still shaking like a leaf, "By the way, you scream like a girl, Caleb."

Caleb smirked in disbelief but was feeling like a total boss as he lit the candles in the hallway. Diya and Tabitha were huddled together on the couch, looking like they were about to wet themselves, while Caleb and Brian kicked back and watched the blank TV. They were all frozen with fear, convinced that something evil was lurking in the mansion. They were so petrified that they could barely move, like a bunch of statues in a museum. Caleb was the only one who seemed to have any sense of humour left in him, and he couldn't resist smirking at Diya.

"Don't worry, guys," he said. "If anything comes after us, I'll just throw this candle at it."

The others just stared at him in horror, unsure if he was joking or not.
