That very night, in Diya's room, both Diya and Tabitha were peacefully asleep. Tabitha, not fully awake, looked over at Diya and assumed everything was calm. Little did she know that Diya was experiencing a dream that was both sensually exciting and scary.

In Diya's dream, her eyes remained tightly shut as she sensed a presence on top of her, moving with intensity. Their bodies were intertwined, fitting perfectly like a key in a lock, pressing against the bed. The wooden frame creaked under their passionate movements. The mysterious figure riding her possessed a swaying tail and a distinct horn on their head.

Surprisingly, instead of feeling strange about the situation, Diya found herself thrilled by their escapade on the bed. The vigorous rocking motion only added to her excitement. But as time passed, Diya gradually opened her eyes and was met with the sight of a familiar face before her. Squinting to get a better view, she was completely taken aback.

"Caleb?" Diya softly whispered as they both reached their climax on the bed.

Diya then struggled to open her eyes and jolted up on the bed in shock. She looked around her and realized that it was already morning. The pale light of dawn slithered through the frosty window panes, casting delicate shadows on the walls of the room. The air inside was crisp, almost as if it held its breath in anticipation of the day ahead.

Diya had a moment of unexpected wetness and slipperiness in her intimate area, and she instantly remembered her dream from the previous night.

"Can you believe it? Caleb with a devil's tail! Next thing you know, he'll be sprouting horns and breathing fire!"

She couldn't help but chuckle as she imagined the scenario. Considering his nature, it wouldn't be surprising if he absentmindedly walked out of the bathroom with a monkey tail hanging from his pants. The amusing thought made her laugh softly as she slowly got out of bed. She hurriedly entered the bathroom to freshen up.

As she intended to brush her teeth, she suddenly heard Tabitha's voice yelling Brianne's name from the other room. Diya assumed it was just another episode of their "Pretty Little Liars" marathon that they had started earlier that morning. However, her relaxation was interrupted by a loud knock on the bathroom door, followed by Tabitha urgently calling out her name.

Diya swung open the door and inquired, "What's the matter now, Tabi?"

In an alarmed tone, Tabitha replied, "She won't wake up! It's like she's lifeless on the bed. You need to come and see for yourself right away."

Playfully, Diya teased Tabitha as she wiped her face with the towel hanging on the bathroom door, "Did you accidentally miss her or something that made you rush to her room this morning?"

Tabitha dismissed Diya's comment, "Don't be ridiculous! I spotted a diary on her bed, but it was too dark and fancy to belong to her. So, I picked it up to investigate. When I touched her, her body felt as cold as ice," Tabitha explained her actions that morning.

Diya quietly muttered to herself, "A diary?" as she trailed behind Tabitha on their way to Brianne's room.

She had always suspected that there was more to Brianne than met the eye, but a diary? That was intriguing. They reached Brianne's room, the door slightly ajar. Tabitha pushed it open cautiously, and they entered the dimly lit space. The room was adorned with paintings, antique furniture, and shelves filled with books. Amongst all the opulence, a small, ornate diary lay atop a velvet cushion on the dressing table.

Tabitha's eyes gleamed with excitement as she picked it up, her hands trembling ever so slightly. "This looks really dark and fancy!" she whispered. "Maybe it is the devil's innermost thoughts, all in here."

Diya approached, peering over Tabitha's shoulder to catch a glimpse of the diary's pages. The diary's cover was embossed with intricate patterns, and the clasp that held it shut seemed ancient, as if it had been passed through generations.

"So, Brianne had the cursed book all this time?" Diya thought to herself as she gazed at Brianne lying lifelessly on the bed.

"What do you think we should do?" Tabitha asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "Should we open it?"

"No, please don't open it," Diya exclaimed urgently, concern lacing her words. "We have no idea what's inside this book, it could potentially be dangerous."

Tabitha was taken aback by Diya's intense reaction and Diya gripped it tightly in her hand, her fear evident, as she asked Tabitha to check on Brianne's condition. Tabitha carefully checked Brianne's pulse and observed her pale face, but to her horror, she realized that there was no sign of life. Brianne's face had turned even more sunken and had a sudden bluish hue. Overwhelmed by the shock, Tabitha instinctively took a step back from the worn-out wooden bed.

As if ridiculing her, the edge of the bed emitted a familiar creaking sound that caused Diya's heart to skip a beat. It was the very same sound that had haunted her in a haunting yet erotic dream she had experienced the previous night. The room and the bed she was fantasizing about were now vividly etched in her mind, where she had imagined a passionate encounter with Caleb.

Tabitha turned towards Diya and whispered softly, "I believe she's dead, Diya."

As they were trying to figure out what was going on in Brianne's room that morning, Caleb appeared out of nowhere like a ninja! Okay, maybe not a ninja, but it was still pretty unexpected.

Confused and concerned, Caleb asked, "What's going on?" he glanced at Brianne's motionless form behind Diya.

The moment Caleb's voice pierced through the silence, Diya's heart skipped a beat. She jumped, her nerves on edge, and quickly swallowed the lump in her throat. As she turned to face him, her mind flooded with memories of the erotic dream she had had about him the night before. She couldn't bear to look into his eyes again, let alone speak to him.

Every detail of the dream came rushing back to her - the way his eyes had locked onto hers, the warmth of his breath on her skin, and the way his touch had sent shivers down her spine. She felt her face flush with embarrassment and tried to compose herself, but her mind was too clouded with thoughts of Caleb to focus on anything else.

"I'm not certain, Caleb," Tabitha implored, clutching the book tightly in her hand.

Pulling her aside, away from Tabitha's sight, Caleb spoke to her privately.

"Why does Brianne have the book we thought it was lost in the basement?" Caleb asked Diya.

Diya glanced at the cursed book in her hand and replied, "Don't look at me like that, Caleb. It was on Brianne's bed. Tabitha discovered it there."

"Have any of you opened the book yet, Diya?"Caleb expressed concern as he inquired.

Shaking her head, Diya indicated that she had not yet opened the book. Caleb's eyes narrowed as he knew the dangers that lay within the pages of that cursed book, and he needed to convince Diya to hand it over to him before it was too late.

"Diya," Caleb began, his voice filled with urgency, "I understand that you're curious about this book, but you have to trust me when I say that it holds dark and powerful forces that we can not comprehend."

Diya hesitated, her grip tightening on the book. "You do realize that this book might hold the answers we're looking for."

Caleb took a step closer, his voice filled with conviction. "I know that Diya, maybe there are other ways to uncover the truth, safer ways. We need to focus on finding out what happened to Brianne and keeping ourselves safe."
