Mazikeen woke up to someone knocking on her door, she stood up and walked over to it and opened the door to see Sam smiling at her,

"Hey! Time for breakfast!"

Mazikeen laughed and nodded,

"Okay, one sec,"

She quickly threw on her jacket and walked down the stairs, the events of last night playing through her mind. She was still shocked that Jazz would be so nice to her, regardless of if he was her guardian or not. She draped her arm around Sam and smirked at him,

"So, you ready?"

Sam sighed and shook his head,

"No,"

Mazikeen smiled softly at him and nudged him,

"I'll call you as soon as I get my new phone, okay?"

Sam nodded,

"You better,"

Mazikeen chuckled and nodded,

"I will,"

The two sat down and started eating toast. Mazikeen glanced around and noticed her absent parents and shrugged it off. Rover climbed up onto the table and sat down in front of the two siblings,

"You will be safe, right?"

Mazikeen nodded,

"Yes, I will,"

Rover nodded,

"Good,"

Mazikeen smiled and Sam nudged her,

"You have to tell me if you date someone,"

Mazikeen immediately choked on her food,

"Samuel Witwicky!"

Sam winced and smiled nervously at her,

"Yes? My favorite sister,"

Mazikeen glared at him and pointed her fork at him,

"I won't be dating for a long long time,"

Sam shrugged,

"Hey, I mean you are in the military, you are very strong and smart...any guy would be lucky to have you!"

Mazikeen smiled softly and ruffled his hair,

"I know, Sammy...dating is just not on my mind,"

Sam smirked and shrugged,

"You never know,"

Mazikeen rolled her eyes at him,

"Whatever you say,"

Sam pointed at her,

"But I want to meet him!"

Mazikeen sighed and looked at Rover,

"I almost feel bad for you, you have to deal with him all day,"

Sam gasped,

"HEY!"

Rover laughed and nodded his head,

"I also get to embarrass him so it works out,"

Sam groaned,

"Not cool, bud, not cool,"

Mazikeen and Rover laughed again. They all finished eating and Sam frowned as he looked at their empty plates,

"You have to go now...don't you?"

Mazikeen smiled softly and nodded,

"Yeah,"
