Escapee

Will paced back and forth in the conference room, 

"You are telling me. That he was able to escape?! He was at Rikers! How the fuck was he able to get out?!"

Morshower sighed, 

"I wish I knew, Commander, but we don't. Right now, Mazikeen is safe. He will never be able to find her if he does not know where she is. He will first look over there,"

Will sighed, 

"Sir. He could not have possibly gotten out without help from the inside,"

Morshower nodded, 

"I agree with you, which is why I have trusted men searching for that mole,"

Will finally sat down and put his head in his hands, 

"General, we have to go protect her,"

Morshower shook his head, 

"You know as well as I do that Captain Witwicky is capable of protecting herself. Especially after that attack,"

Will sighed, 

"We need to tell her,"

Morshower shook his head, 

"We don't know if Santangelo can track phone calls, we have to be careful,"

Will frowned and crossed his arms, 

"So I send someone over there, one of the Autobots,"

Morshower shook his head, 

"When it comes to Mazikeen, the Autobots might not act intelligently. They might be reckless. We can not have any human casualties,"

Will sighed, 

"So what you are saying, sir, is that we do nothing?"

"Will...that is the best thing we can do for her,"

Will sighed, 

"I don't like that,"

"Neither do I,"

The call ended, and Will stood back up and walked out of the room. He glanced at his phone briefly and sighed, 

"Mynx...you better know what you are doing,"

He took out his phone and pressed on the one contact he trusts the most, 

"Why, hello, Commander Lennox, to what do I owe the greatest pleasure of hearing from you?"

Will chuckled, 

"Oh, shut up, Fig,"

"You love me,"

Will shook his head in amusement, 

"Listen...Mynx is in trouble,"

"What?! I thought she was wi-"

"We found a Viper at base,"

"Shit,"

Will sighed and nodded, 

"Yeah, so pull up over here so we can do something, you are the snake expert,"

"Okay, I'll be there in like two hours,"

"I thought it would take longer?"

"Nope, two hours. I'll rent out a private jet. You should be thankful that I am. Those Vipers are tricky,"

"Awe, look at you being responsible with your money,"

"Oh, shut up. Are you able to get in touch with the baby?"

"Annabel? I haven't been able to. Can you call up Sarah and ask her how she is doing?"

"Why can't you? She's your damn wife!"

"We were arguing last phone call,"

"Damn, no wonder your so grumpy,"

"Don't make me tase you when you get here,"

He heard Fig laugh and rolled his eyes, 

"I'll get in touch with Sarah, don't worry,"

Will sighed in relief, 

"Okay, I'll let Epps know you are stopping by to help,"

"Yeah, yeah, you owe me,"

"I know I know, just be careful, don't want Sarah mad at you too,"

"She loves me too, I don't know what you're talking about,"

"See you in a few hours,"

"Yep! Bye,"

Will hung up and sighed in relief. He was never more thankful that the four of them made a lot of code words than right now. He ran over to the cafeteria, knowing that was where Epps would be. He ran in and saw him chatting with their new squadmates. He walked over and put a hand on Epps' shoulder. He turned over and looked at him, 

"Hey, Lennox, what's up?"

"We got a snake on the loose. I think it's a viper,"

Epps' eyes widened and turned to the three, 

"Gotta go, we will catch up later at dinner, okay?"

The three nodded. Darwin smirked, 

"Have fun finding a viper in here,"

Epps sighed, 

"Yeah, snake duty still,"

He quickly walked away with Will, and once they were alone, Epps turned to Will, 

"Are you sure?"

Will nodded, 

"Yes, I just got the call from Morshower, Emmet escaped."

Epps crossed his arms, 

"How the fuck?"

"I have no idea. We have to figure out how we are going to help Mynx from here,"

"Did you call Fig?"

Will nodded, 

"Yes, he is heading over to LA right now to talk to Mynx,"

"How the fuck are we getting to LA?"

Will sighed and shook his head, 

"We can't,"

Epps crossed his arms, 

"What about the Autobots? They sure as hell would do anything to save the All Spark,"

Will sighed and put a hand on his shoulder, 

"Which is why we can't. I already asked Morshower if I could tell them so they can send someone to help Mynx, and he said no."

Epps sighed and ran a hand down his face, 

"So we are pretty much stuck?"

Will sighed and nodded, 

"Yeah...we are,"

Epps glared at the floor, 

"Great. We failed again,"

Will shook his head, 

"No. We did not. Fig will help Mynx, and Eddie will do everything in his power to keep her safe,"

Epps nodded, 

"Yeah...I know...it just sucks,"

"It does...let's go to the shooting range and keep our phones near us,"

"We going to shoot shit?"

Will nodded, 

"Yes. We are going to shoot shit,"
