Hello everyone! This chapter has a POV, and a dream in it. However, the dream will be a flashback, ik spoiler alert sorry, not sorry. Everything in italics will be Mazikeen speaking, and I will have past Mazikeen that she sees labeled as D-Mazikeen.

I drove over to Will's house. I remember where Lil M's room was and stopped near it. Everyone else was by the barn they had. Optimus told me to make sure I recharged, and I think he noticed that I haven't been getting much recharge since Lil M disappeared. But Optimus has known me for a long time, so I guess that makes sense. I think he and Hatchet were planning on putting me in a stasis lock if I didn't start recharging normally soon. My spark hurts more than ever before. I thought that losing Lil M again was painful...but seeing her look through me like she did earlier, I had never felt that kind of pain before...it was worse than when she almost offlined those human years ago in Egypt. I want her back...I want her to remember me again. Not just as the Cybertronian she saved from Megatron, but as her guardian and best friend, maybe even as a sparkmate. I promised Will I would tell her when she came back...but how could I tell her when she has no memory of me? Not even Tex! I want to talk to Tex, but he's still with Annabel. He's trying to distract himself from everything going on. What kind of sire am I if I can't even console my sparkling?

"Dad?"

I felt myself smile,

"Tex, what is it?"

"Can you come inside?"

I know I shouldn't...I can't risk confusing her...but what harm would it be to spend time with my sparkling?

"Okay, I will be there soon,"

I turned on my holo-form and stepped out of my alt-mode. I glanced up at Mazikeen's window before walking through the front door. I can still sense her...it's smaller than before, but it still counts for something in my processor. I immediately saw Tex running up to me and jumping into my arms. I held him softly and sighed,

"It's okay, Tex,"

Tex shook his head and looked at me. I could see the Energon slowly leaking from his optics,

"I miss my mom,"

That right there...that's a stab to the spark. I wiped his optics and got myself to smile at him,

"Hey, Lil M is still here...she will remember us, I am sure of it,"

Tex sighed,

"She...she looked right through us, dad...she recognized you...but she didn't know me."

"Tex...Lil M doesn't know any of us right now. But she will. We just gotta jog her memory,"

Tex sighed and nodded,

"Alright,"

I smiled at him and patted his head,

"Come, you need to recharge,"

Tex rolled his optics,

"I am f-"

"Don't even think about arguing,"

Tex sighed, and I smirked at him. I carefully set him down on a couch, I didn't want to bring him back to me because I don't want to accidentally disturb his recharge. Tex sighed and looked at me,

"Can you promise me something?"

I nodded,

"What is it, bud?"
