The Truth Hurts

Sam stepped out of Bumblebee with Rover on his shoulder, 

"You guys can't let me be in college for one day?!"

Optimus sighed as he watched him pace back and forth, 

"I told you that I wanted to be out of this! Hell! Maze didn't want me in it either!"

Optimus shut his optics at her name and sighed, 

"Samuel."

Sam looked up at him and Rover felt the sadness from the older Cybertronian, 

"What happened?"

Bumblebee transformed and sat down next to Sam and Rover, 

"Boss?"

Optimus glanced at Bumblebee and sighed before kneeling down in front of Sam, 

"Sam. Something happened. I wish I was not telling you this just as much as you wish to not here it."

Sam felt tears fill his eyes, 

"Sh-She's n-not coming back...is she,"

Optimus sighed, 

"The humans do not trust us anymore. Only the soldiers that fought alongside us. They are trying to get us to leave your planet...and General Morshower thought it was best if we found someone to plead our case. I told them that the only one that would defend us to the very end...was not here,"

Rover climbed onto his leg, 

"Optimus. Where is Maze?"

Sam nodded,

"Where is my sister?!"

Optimus closed his optics and then opened them back up to stare at Sam, 

"Trust me when I say this. She will fight tooth and nail, as you say, to be here with you, Samuel. She did not wish for you to know. However, I will tell you. She gained the power of the All Spark when she put the cube in Megatron to kill him. That is why she was able to Teleport. The Decepticons found out that she had such power. She was taken last night. There was a large fight at the NEST headquarters and all of us were fighting. Jazz and Ratchet were almost offlined trying to protect your older sister. I am truly sorry, Samuel. Your sister saved Jazz and Ratchet by turning herself in,"

Sam took a step back in shock and Rover gasped. Sam turned to Bumblebee who was staring at Optimus with widened optics, 

"Bee...did you know?"

Bumblebee immediately shook his head, 

"No,"

Rover looked down at his hands, 

"Why...why did you never tell us who she was? You should have told us. I thought she was safe with you guys. For the first time in my life, ever since Maze created me, I thought I was not alone. Jazz told me I was an honorary Autobot. How could you keep this away?"

Optimus sighed and stared down at the tiny robot on his leg, 

"There is someone you should meet. Both of you should meet,"

Sam stared at him, 

"You think introducing someone new would help?!"

Optimus shook his head, 

"William told me I should. To help all three of you,"

Rover tilted his head, 

"Three?"

Optimus nodded, 

"Tex,"

Tex peaked up from his neck and stared at the human, robot, and Autobot before him,
