The next day was a warm Saturday. I could smell the ham and Swiss omelet that Tita Meryl prepared for us. I enjoyed my breakfast silently, and as much as possible, I tried not to look at Arrow.

I never had a boyfriend, and I didn't have any issues of having one.

While spacing out, Tita Meryl took my attention when she put something on the table, it's two small papers like receipts, or maybe concert tickets.

"Arrow, use this and take Seven with you," she said.

"Ano 'yan?" tanong ni Arrow sabay subo sa kinakain niya.

"Remember Rizza? My secretary?" she asked and her son nodded. "She gave me two Wacky World tickets as her birthday gift to me last month."

Arrow dropped his jaw and asked, "Your secretary gave you Wacky World tickets? Who would do that? You're an adult."

"Exactly," said Tita Meryl. "Kaya nga ibinibigay ko sa inyo 'yan para kayo na ang gumamit. I'm too old for that."

"What? No way!" reacted Arrow. "I'm not too old, but I'm not also too young for that."

"C'mon, anak. Sayang naman 'yong ticket," said Tita Meryl and stared at me. "I bet, gusto ring pumunta ni Seven, hindi ba?"

I swallowed my food before talking. "Ano po ang Wacky World?" tanong ko.

"It's an amusement park," she said.

"Ahm... Actually, hindi pa po ako nakakapunta ng amusement park."

The two halted, giving me a look. Arrow didn't like showing too much emotion, but his eye were widening in disbelief.

"Not even once?" he asked.

I didn't say a word, but I gave him a nod. Well, for a person who was born in a poor family and struggling to put food on the table, going to an amusement park never came into my mind.

"Then both of you must go," said Tita Meryl while staring at her son.

"This will be a good experience for you, Seven. You should try it while you're still young."

"Pero, Tita..." I said, but Arrow cut me off.

"Fine! Let's go," he said, standing from his seat with his both hands inside his hoodie pocket. He wasn't looking at me, as if he's a shy grade schooler afraid to look at his teacher.

"Sigurado ka?" tanong ko.

He turned his head to me. "Yes, kawawa ka naman kasi," pangaasar niya. I should be offended, but I found it funny when he made some annoying facial expressions.

"Arrow," said Tita Meryl, glaring at her son.

"Okay lang po, Tita," nakangiti kong sabi sabay tayo sa aking upuan. I stared at Arrow and said, "Are we really going?"

"Oo nga, ang kulit," sambit nito.

I didn't really have the interest, but going to amusement park with my childhood friend wasn't a bad idea at all. After the morning meal, I went to my room to prepare. I stood in front of my closet, thinking about the perfect outfit to wear.

Just to be clear, I'm not excited.

I decided to wear my favorite jeans, which I bought using my first salary when I was still working in a factory. I paired it with a honey poloshirt, and my favorite and most comfortable sneakers.
