The day we prepared for and waited for a month came. We traveled going to San Miguel for our Business Summit. As expected, Tita Meryl gave us so many reminders. Hindi ko rin siya masisisi dahil kagagaling lang ni Arrow sa sakit.

Our school hired three buses for three sections. As we boarded the bus, excitement bubbled up inside me. It was as if we're going on a field trip. Magkatabi kami ni Arrow sa bus at si Maze naman ang katabi ni Audrey. Colton was on another bus because he's from another section.

"Sayang dahil hindi natin makakasama si Dandrix," sambit ko.

"Kung nalulungkot ka dahil hindi natin siya kasama, paano na lang si Colton?" tanong ni Arrow kaya mabilis ko siyang nilingon.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Hindi mo ba sila napapansin?" saad nito. "The way they treat each other seemed suspicious."

I cupped my mouth, widening my eyes. "Are you saying that the two of them are...."

"Yes," he said in a certain tone. "Akala ko ba ay matalik mong kaibigan si Dandrix, bakit parang hindi mo napapansin ang galawan nila ni Colton?"

"Stop it, Arrow. Napakamalisyoso mo," sambit ko sabay hampas sa kanyang braso.

"No I'm not. I have my proof," he uttured. "Do you recall the jelly bean that Colton gave to Dandrix?" he asked and I nodded. "There's a note there. It says, From Lucky, To Yellow."

"What?" I reacted. "I don't understand."

"Remember what I told you when Dandrix called you Rino? Hindi ba't sinabi ko na mag-syota lang dapat ang may endearment? I bet Lucky and Yellow are their endearment for each other."

"You talk like an inspector," I commented. "But I don't believe you."

He scoffed. "Fine, basta alam kong tama ang hinala ko."

I squinted my eyes at him, planning to give more disagreement with his suspicions about our friends. Mukhang sigurado siya sa kanyang sinasabi kaya hindi na ako nakipagtalo pa. Still, I stamped in my head that his assumption wasn't true.

The travel lasted for eight hours. We had two stop overs before we finally reached our destination. The bus rumbled down the city of San Miguel, heading to the grand resort of Coastal Paradise, a place that would serve as our home for the next few days.

We did a roll call before checking in. Bakas ang pagkasabik sa mukha ng bawat estudyanteng tulad ko habang hila-hila ang kanya-kanya naming mga bagahe. As we entered the resort, chatter grew louder and became more energetic. Towering pine trees and colorful flags stood in alignment along the path.

"Yeah! We're finally here!" said Maze full of excitement.

"This place is amazing," said Audrey as she snapped some photos using her camera.

Colton ran ahead of us while carrying his luggage, so Maze went after him, feeling excited for the adventure that would come. Even Arrow couldn't hide his smile as he took his moment to look on the beautiful sceneries from afar.

When we reached the lobby, Mr. Tor told us to fall in line. Some resort staffs assisted him while giving a few instructions.

"There will be four people sharing in one room," said Mr. Tor. "Of course, magkahiwalay ang babae at lalaki."
