My heart pounded in my chest as Arrow and I sat together in the hospital bed. We were anxiously waiting for Tita Meryl's return, hoping for a good news about the forensic exam that would determine if I had been sexually assaulted or not.

Hindi ako handa na humarap sa ibang tao kaya minabuti ko na lang na si Tita Meryl ang humarap para malaman ang totoo. The minutes dragged on like hours as we sat in a tensed silence.

"Everything will be alright," said Arrow as he placed his arm to my shoulder.

Despite my nerves had my body tingling all over, I responded to him with a smile. No matter what the results would be, at least I had him and Tita Meryl by my side. The ticking of the clock was growing louder as the time passed. After a moment of waiting, someone opened the door.

"Mom," said Arrow and stood sharply. "What happened? What's the result?"

Tita Meryl looked at me, slowly walking towards me. Dahan-dahan niyang hinawakan ang aking kamay kasabay ng naluluha niyang mga mata. I was confused, but I was hoping she would give me a response that would squeeze out my agony.

"You don't have to worry, now," she said. "The police looked over the forensic evidences and they told me you were just drugged. Nothing else happened apart from that."

Sa isang iglap ay nawala lahat ng sakit na aking iniinda ng ilang gabi. I could feel my heart lifting as the worry and tension that I had been dealing inside suddenly released. I finally felt like I could breathe again.

Arrow squeezed my shoulder supportively. "I told you, everything will be alright."

I let out a long exhale, hardly believing the good news that Tita Meryl brought us. Tears began streaming down my cheeks as I recalled what had happened on that abandoned place. Nagtataka ako kung ano ba talaga ang layunin ng mga lalaking 'yon at ganoon ang ginawa nila sa'kin.

It was traumatic, but I was relieved because nothing more happened to me other than being drugged. That was all that mattered. The dark clouds that had been swirling in my head cleared away, leaving sunshine and lightness.

"Gusto mo bang kumain?" tanong ni Tita Meryl.

Hindi pa man ako sumasagot ay nakarinig ako ng tunog mula sa aking tiyan. "I think my stomach just answered you, Tita," I said.

Nagtawanan naman ang dalawa habang naluluha. I could feel the happiness across their faces, and despite all the horrible things that had happened in my life, I was still blessed becaue God gave them to me.

"Bibili lang ako ng makakain natin," saad ni Tita Meryl. "Maiwan ko muna kayo."

Nang makaalis si Tita Meryl ay kumuha si Arrow ng tubig at iniabot sa'kin. For the past days that we're dealing with my problem together, he learned so much things about me. May mga bagay na kahit hindi na bigkasin ng aking bibig ay alam na agad ni Arrow.

"Are you feeling better now?" he asked and sat beside me.

"So much better," I said. "Salamat, Arrow."

"You did so much for me, Seven. Kaya dapat lang na alagaan kita. Besides, I'm your boyfriend."

I lowered my head, contemplating my own feelings. "Arrow, regarding what you told me."

"Do you have your answer now?" he asked.

"Why me?" I focused my eyes at him. "Don't you want to be with someone else like Maureen?"

"Bakit ba ipinipilit mo ako sa taong 'yon?" kalmado niyang sabi.

"Because there's so much reason for you to like her," I answered. "Kung hindi man kay Maureen ay marami rin namang tulad niya na maganda at..."
