SEVEN AND ARROW (Montana Series 2 | BXB)

Exhausted but fulfilled. That magical weekend with Arrow at San Sebastian was something I would cherish for a lifetime. Masaya kaming umuwi ng Montana City, ngunit kailangan muli naming bumalik sa reyalidad bilang estudyante.

We were flooded with so much requirements, plus the preparation for the upcoming Business Summer after a week. Our attention came back to the towering school works and demands from our teachers.

"What? Me?" Audrey said aloud, standing from her seat. "Ngunit bakit ako, Mr. Tor?"

"Ikaw lang ang pwedeng pumalit kay Maureen bilang representative natin sa pageant. Remember, you're her assistant and you also joined every practice. Wala na tayong oras para humanap pa ng iba."

"How about Livvy?" she asked. "Naging assistant rin naman siya ni Maureen."

"She had no time for this because of the community service, which served as her punishment. And don't even try to mention Rolly, because what we need is a female representative," explained Mr. Tor.

Napagakat naman si Audrey sa kanyang labi, tila hindi sang-ayon sa sinabi ng aming accounting teacher. She wanted to complain, but she knew she couldn't change the faculty's decision.

The only thing that motivated her to represent our school on the upcoming Business Summit was the set of clothes for the pageant that she's going to wear and take home.

"You should be happy," said Maze as we were walking down the hall. "Hindi ba't idol mo si Maureen? Ngayon ay sumusunod ka na sa yapak niya."

"Tigilan mo nga ako Maze," inis na sabi ni Audrey.

"Huwag ka lang susunod sa yapak niya bilang bully," sambit ko naman.

"Definitely not!" she exclaimed. "Anyway, I heard a news about Maureen."

"Avid fan ka talaga niya ano?" pang-aasar ni Maze. "Wala na nga siya dito pero nakakasagap ka pa rin ng balita."

"Tatahimik ka o patatahimikin kita habang buhay?" matalas na sabi ni Audrey.

With a grin, Maze said, "Okay. I'll shut up now."

Audrey sniffed as she shifted her gaze at me. "Maureen left the country. Ang alam ko ay idinala na siya sa US ng mga magulang niya para doon mag-aral."

Tumango naman ako. "Mabuti kung gano'n para naman mabawasan ang masasamang tao dito sa Pilipinas."

Natawa naman si Maze. "Tama! Sana ay magkaroon naman siya ng character development doon."

"I hope so," said Audrey. "Teka nga? Saan ba tayo pupunta?"

"Ewan ko dyan kay Seven," nakangusong sabi ni Maze habang nakatingin sa'kin. "May panonoorin daw tayo."

"Panonoorin? Ano naman?" tanong muli ni Audrey.

"It's archery team's exhibition today," I responded. "Arrow is going to participate so he asked me to watch him."

The two exchanged smile while wiggling their eyebrows. Alam na alam ko ang ibig sabihin ng mga tinginan nila, at siguradong papunta na naman kami sa panibagong tuksuhan.
