Insomniac Fright Night

In the silence of the night, he lingers on my mind,
His essence is like a soft melody, gently entwined.
My heart races, ensnared in this uncertainty,
Afraid of the depths of emotions, of what could be.

Sleep evades me as his presence fills the space,
His image etched in my thoughts, leaving no trace.
Yet I'm hesitant to surrender to this swirling tide,
Fearing the unknown, where emotions collide.

But amidst the fear, there's a glimmer of hope,
As our connection deepens, helping me cope.
So I close my eyes, embracing the uncertainty,
Trusting in the journey, in its divinity.
