The room is spinning
Walls closing in
My hands cling, cling to whatevers left
Getting so dizzy, too faint
I wish this could stop, this needs to end
This pain, this endless pain
Sunshine, blue skies, and birds gone
Nothing but grey skies and rain
I have fallen to my knees
No umbrella to hide me from shame
I can't get back up
I let it win again
It's too strong of a tide
Too long of a stride
My bruised knees and blood shot eyes
I want to breathe
I cave, I cave
Below the surface of this crashing
Tidal wave
No room to breathe
Just leave, please leave
I whisper inside
So quiet, like mice
Goodnight
Sleep tight

PoetryFrom another guy in the world, to you. Words that aren't spoken, but remain true. I hope you find comfort in my poetry too. A rusted connection to my reality, because honestly. I've lost it.
