Drowning;
The attempt of keeping my mouth shut, Until that
Very
Last
Moment....That pain, now a calming embrace...
I float;
I wanted you to hear my useless words,
To take them into your mouth, and enjoy the taste of my love...But, it was too late.
I saw the face of death,
Looked deep into it's eyes,
Felt it's souless touch,
Listened to the screams,
And caught a glimpse of my new reality.I remember the feeling of the warmth, draining from my heart.
The once vigorous cycle of ticks and tocks, now a soft beep on a monitor.
The swift fall of my ribs around my lungs; I collapsed.
Opening my arms,
I embraced my fate.And I knew from then,
My time is running near to it's end.And death is never late....

Poems: Gade 12- Present Day
PoezieFrom another guy in the world, to you. Words that aren't spoken, but remain true. I hope you find comfort in my poetry too. A rusted connection to my reality, because honestly. I've lost it.
