Where to begin
Where to end
Reality is short of the border between
Falling faster
Rebuilding slower and slower each time
One brick after another
Making sure nothing can ever get in
Making sure I can never get out.
February 14th 2019
A day of love for those who can afford
The heart break
Who can afford the chocolates and roses
For those who can simply say "i love you"
Without the after thought of rejection.
I bought him a rose
A yellow rose
Yellow in the great Gatsby
Meant riches
Meant happiness
Yellow is his favorite colour
The flower for me meant a gesture of love
A gesture for him to know I care
To know he means everything...
And when I mentioned this
He said he could
He could take my gesture as romantic
And I felt hope
It was false, Yes.
But it was still hope.
And no matter how much drugs
I consume
Snort
Take
The feelings for him that I feel
Won't ever fade...
Until hopefully I die
Or take his hand into mine
And feel myself happy
