Knock, Knock...

He whispered "I love you" for the first time,
His words, sweeter than any rhyme.
In that moment, my soul took flight,
No longer wrestling with fear or plight.

Each touch, each kiss, a revelation new,
A symphony of emotions, feelings grew.
Scared of past wounds, hesitant to believe,
Yet his love, a truth I couldn't deceive.

As we danced this intricate waltz of fate,
I felt the walls around me dissipate.
Knock, knock...

Louder beats echo in my chest,

Trying to let love in, to be blessed.
No longer shutting others out,
I embrace the whisper of love's devout.

Knock, knock...
