I finished packing a bag with a few changes of clothes and normal essentials like deodorant and a toothbrush before my parents hurried me and my siblings into the car.
Once again, Del and I would be sitting in the very very back, Leena and Tanner having called dibs on the captains chairs and my parents in the front seats.
My dog Whiskey was laid across the bench seat beside me, his head on my lap as I pet him.
My dad told me to leave him at the house since my aunt would be coming to feed him, but I insisted he came with and so he told my aunt not to come and now I get to bring my dog.
Plus Delphi loves Whiskey more than she loves me.
Not that she loves me of course. I mean she might. But we've only been dating for like 2 weeks. It's way too early for that. Oh god. This is not the time to think about this.
