After Colin had the talk with Lily about Lily getting drunk, he started to talk to Lily properly about what happened the other week when Lily had told Colin about Jodie and the abuse and how Lily was ignoring them both for two weeks

"So Lily i want to tell you how sorry i am about how i reacted when you told me about Jodie, it was wrong of me to storm out on you like that and im truly sorry for making you feel upset, but promise me if anything like that happens again with anyone at school or anywhere please come to me or Scarlett im sorry that you felt you couldnt tell me squirt and what she said was not true you are not a waste of space, you are the most important thing in the world to me" Colin said wiping the rest of his tears away and using his thumbs to wipe Lilys

"Im sorry i didnt tell you daddy, i was so scared and i didnt want you to get angry at me and leave me like mom did" Lily said looking back at Colin and Scarletts heart broke once again knowing that all the mother figures had left her and she was only trying to protect herself

"Its okay baby i would never be angry with you over that, but the drinking last night i am very angry with, no more of that please and i want to know why you have been ignoring Scarlett for the last two weeks Squirt, i understood that you were mad at me but Scarlett hasn't done anything wrong" Colin started to ssk Lily and Lily turned her head to Scarlett but Scarlett nodded her head and Scarlett spoke for her

"Lily told me the reason last night Col, she didn't want to become close with me incase i leave and she is alone again but i told her that i would never leave her because i love my cuddle buddy too much" Scarlett explained with a smile on her face and she reached out to Lilys hand and squeezed it

After i told Colin what Lily had told me last night i could see the confusion on her face, she probably didnt know that she had told me last night and i needed to have a conversation with her about her kissing the boy right in front of me, i am not going to mention it in front of Colin because he would go absolutely mental about it so im going to have a little talk with her later on

I went to sit next to Colin with Lily still sitting on his lap and i cuddled into the side of Colin feeling happy that this is my family even though Rose was not here but she will be here in 2 days so Lily could finally meet her, Rose has been going on for weeks about meeting Lily and she was so excited because they were both names after flowers

We all stayed cuddling eachother until i could hear Lily speak up

"Dad can i have my phone just for 2 minutes" and she was immediately shut down with a no from Colin which made her sigh

"Please i need to know if Adelines alright, she left the party before me and someone told me she went home i just want to make sure that she is okay because she was home alone last night" Lily begged and Colin gave me a look to see if we should let her and i nodded because her friend was the same age as her and if her parents werent there she had no one to look out for her, i stood up and went to the kitchen to get Lilys phone and she immediately took it and went into the kitchen to make a phone call

Lilys pov

I managed to get my phone back for maximum 10 minutes, i know that Adeline would be okay but i decided to call her before texting the person i needed to actually talk to, i know that Adeline would be up by now even if she had a hangover because of her parents coming back and i dont think she drunk that much as me anyways
