Look after you

Lilys pov 

I showed Scarlett the bruises on my ribs and she told me she was taking me to the hospital because she thinks i had broken a rib, i knew that she would also want to know what had happened but i didnt want her to think i was weak and couldnt protect myself against the cheerleaders

Scarlett had got my coat and a blanket and got my shoes, she told me to sit on the bottom of the stairs and she put my shoes on so that i didnt have to bend down and hurt my ribs, I felt bad for putting this all on Scarlett she was probably having a nice relaxing day without any kids and i ruined it 

Scarlett grabbed her car keys and took my coat and blanket putting the coat in the backseat and helping me to sit in the front next to her so she could keep an eye on me, she put the seatbelt on and draped the blanket over me then she told me to try and not move as much and stay in one position so it would be less painful, we got to the hospital in less than 10 minutes and im pretty sure that she was speeding but oh well 

Scarletts pov

I rush Lily into the hospital and i sit her down in the waiting area telling her to wait there whilst i go and get someone to come and check her, i book a private room and the nurse at the desk told me someone would come and get us in a minute so i went back to were Lily was sitting and i sat down next to her, i could tell that she was in pain and i just wanted to take all her pain away i would even take her pain and give it to me just so that she wasnt feeling like this 

I took her hand and then we saw a nurse with her name tag reading April, she smiled at Lily which at first i just thought it was her being friendly 

"Hey little L, i hoped not to see you again anytime soon whats happened?" April speaks to Lily and i realised that Lily had been in hospital a few times because of her panic attacks where they have been extreme and landed her in hospital so she probably know her from her being her so many times 

"Hi April, just a few bruises its not that-" Lily started but i cut her off because she was trying to down play the situation 

"No Lily it is bad your ribs are bruised and it hurts to breathe it is very serious" i tell her with my eyebrow raised and she was about to protest but i gave her a look that told her "dont test me" 

"Oh im so sorry i completely forgot to introduce myself, my name is April Benner and i used to look after Lily when she was in hospital sometimes" April tells me with a smile on her face, she seems like a nice and bubbly person around and i could tell that she is worrying about Lily 

"No its fine dont worry, im Scarlett im her dads fiance" I say sticking my hand out for her to shake which she shook it with a big smile 

"April is totally fangirling Scar, we used to watch all the marvel movies together when i was here  and we are both big fans of Black widow" Lily said and April turned wide eyed feeling embarrassed but i chuckled and told her it was nice to meet her 

"Im sorry for keeping you so long, im just waiting for Dr Waiter to come and bring me a wheelchair because i dont want you walking until i know the extent of this injury" She said with a small smile and a pointed finger at Lily who just giggled

The other doctor came and gave April the wheelchair and I helped Lily get into the wheelchair and she took us to the private room that i had booked because i didnt want any fans coming up to us whilst we were here, she told Lily to lay on the bed and lift her top up so she could see what they were looking like 

Lilys pov

I showed April the bruises and i could see Scarlett with tears in her eyes and i took her hand letting her know i was okay and she squeezed my hand back
