"Go away, Sunghoon." Bitna grumbled as she continued to march her way down the empty road in the middle of the night - rain beginning to spit down onto their heads.

"Just stop walking and listen to me." he pleaded, speeding up and attempting to reach out for the girls arm - only, she was quick to pull it away and cross her arm within her other one. "You don't even know where you're going." He pointed out with a sigh.

Bitna rolled her eyes and let out a huff, "anywhere away from you is good." She angrily stated, meaning every word. Sunghoon clenched his jaw at her stubbornness, he hated it when she got like this.

"Bitna." He called out, making the Kim girl immediately stop dead in her tracks - her jaw ever so slightly dropped. He had never called her by her actual name before, it had always just been 'Byeonseok' - the cruel nickname he made up to insult her with, the nickname he had stuck to throughout the years of knowing one another.

"Look, I'm sorry that I ruined your chances with that guitarist.." he muttered - not meaning a single word of it. He wasn't sorry, not at all. "But you have to understand where I'm coming from and how I feel."

By now rain had grown heavier, it was like a scene straight out of some kind of cheesy Romcon movie or book - it was the type of scene that would've made Bitna cringe due to its cliche directing. But for some reason, Bitna didn't find this moment in time cringe, at all - it was like the rain deepened the moment, it made Bitna want to yell and cry all at the same time, it was almost like the rain strengthened and weakened her emotions - and she didn't know if she liked, loved, or hated that.

"Then how you feel?" Bitna questioned, turning around to face the now drenched male, his fingers pushing his wet hair out of his face completely - giving him a look that Bitna couldn't help but find somewhat.. attractive? "What don't I understand?" She asked, now taking a step closer to the boy - trickles of rain now gliding down her face and neck and soaking into her hair.

Sunghoon tutted and shook his head, feeling fed up of the conversation and its nonexistent future or ending. "You won't understand." He mumbled, throwing his gaze down to the ground - debating on wether or not he should give up and turn back around to the club, but the thought and look of Bitna for some reason made him want to stay.

"Then make me understand." Bitna spoke, her tone so confident yet submissive at the same time, her eye contact so intimidating yet so inviting. Giving her a look and aura that Sunghoon couldn't help but find somewhat.. attractive? "Well?" Her voice perked up, snapping the male away from his conspiring thoughts.

Sunghoon inhaled sharply and swallowed a hard lump in his throat, subconsciously squeezing his jaw before continuing. "Look, I don't know about you, but I don't just go around kissing people with no meaning.." he began - watching the way Bitna's eyebrow cocked.

"I'm not saying I love you- because I don't." He stated, "but I just think ignoring the fact that we've kissed is pointless, we could do so much with that and yet you like to pretend that it never even happened."

Bitna let out a small scoff, throwing her head back to regain composure. "How have I pretended like it never even happened? You're the one who avoided me like the plague the next day, how was I suppose to know that you wanted me to scream off the rooftops that we made out in the hot tub?" She confronted, Sunghoon looking down with shame.

"You need to get your act together, Sunghoon." She warned, "stop acting like a boy by denying your own faults and instead be a man by owning up to them." Bitna expressed, rolling her eyes in the meantime.

Sunghoon's eyes wafted down to the girls lips for a split second before meeting her eyes once again. The way she defended and carried herself intrigued Sunghoon so much, it made him want to do the same towards his father and only made him want to listen to her talk so passionately about the things she loves. "Let me be your boyfriend." He abruptly suggested - Bitna letting out a shocked gasp and widening her eyes.

She let out a sigh and creased her brows together, "Sunghoon..-" she began - her next words being an obvious rejections but Sunghoon didn't let that stop him and cut the girls off instead.

"Give me a month's trial." Sunghoon spoke, "I'll show you what will come when dating me, and then at the end of the month, you can decide whether or not you want to upgrade to the real thing." He explained, making Bitna more confused than ever.

"What would this one month's trial contain?" She wondered, dropping her hands to her side as she stared at the male with anticipation - she had never even liked the boy before, and yet here she is debating wether or not he can show her what dating him would be like for a month.

Sunghoon stood closer to her, them now only inches apart. "For starters.. I would hold your hand," he mumbled, picking up her hand and interlocking it within his own, "like this." His eyes met hers as she fluttered her eyes away from their locked hands to look back up at him.

"I would caress your face," he spoke and reached up to gently hold her jaw, his thumb grazing over her cheek, "like this." His head now dropping down near her own, his lips directly above hers.

"And I would kiss you.." he mumbled, his eyes searching for some kind of consent and giving her time to pull away and reject his offer. "Like this."

Before Bitna could even take another breath, his lips were delicate pressed against hers - his right hand moving to gently take ahold of her waist, his other hand still attached to her jaw - still grazing his thumb over her cheek. Just as Bitna began to feel comfortable and crave the taste of his smooth lips, he pulled away - stepping away from the girl with a printed smirk.

"So..? Do you want to accept the one month's free trial?" He questioned, Bitna's eyes dropping down the ground as she chewed on her bottom lip - the same lip that was just touching his.

Bitna looked back up at him, his face reminded her of all the times he pushed, shoved, and even punched her - reminded her of all the arguments they had, reminded her of the time him and his goons made fun of Nari. Yet it also reminded her of the way he protectively pushed Gaon away from her, the way he stared at her from across the other end of the bar, when he apologised so sincerely after stealing her clothes, reminded her of the time he brought her food to show how sorry he really was and even ate her gherkins because she hated them, and of the moment he called her Bitna - and how it gave her butterflies..

And finally, she had her answer.
