   Bright's POV
I sat at my desk, lost in thoughts of Grace. How was she doing? It had been a week since Kim took her from me, and the anger simmered inside. "I swear, when I find you, Kim Cavill, you'll pay," I muttered, fists clenched.

Just then, the door burst open without a knock. I was ready to unleash my frustration, but I froze when I saw Sam standing there. "You really should knock next time! This isn't your house!" I snapped, my irritation spilling over. I'd been short-tempered lately, missing Grace more than I cared to admit.

"Seriously, Bright? I come here with news you've been desperate to hear, and you yell at me? Forget it, I'm out," he shot back. Realizing my mistake, I quickly grabbed his arm. "Wait, is it about Grace? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to explode. I just... I can't handle this." Tears started to fall, and I looked away, embarrassed.

He stepped closer, wrapping me in a hug. "Bright, I know how much you miss her. It's okay. You'll see her again...I found her!" he whispered. I pulled back, hope flooding my chest. "Really? You found her?"

He nodded, a grin spreading across his face. Relief washed over me like a wave. "Thank you, Sam. I'll never forget this. One day, I'll repay you," I said, pulling him into another embrace.

"Anything for my bro!" he replied, a spark of excitement lighting up the room.

     IN THE BASEMENT

Bright's POV

"Angel, Sam, Jacob, Alexander,I need your help," I said, my voice steady and serious.

"Of course we're here for you, Bright. We'll help you get Grace back," Angel affirmed, her eyes filled with determination.

"I'm assuming Sam filled you all in," I replied, glancing at him. He just smiled in response.

"So what's the plan?" Alexander asked, leaning forward.

"It's straightforward. We go in, take out everyone except for Grace," I explained.

"Sounds simple enough. Count me in," Jacob chimed in.

"Thanks, Jacob! And just so you know, I'm leaving Kim to you. This time, he won't walk away," I added, my resolve hardening.

    AT KIM'S MANSION
  Bright's POV

When we arrived, we swiftly took out all the bodyguards. As I stepped inside, my heart raced. There, on the couch, were Kim and Grace, laughing and engrossed in a movie. Fury ignited within me.

I advanced toward them, but a bodyguard lunged at me. Without a second thought, I shot him down. The gunfire startled them, causing Grace and Kim to pause the film and turn to face me.

"Bright..." Grace said softly, her voice trembling.

"Yeah, princess, I'm here to save you. But it looks like you were enjoying yourself with him," I shot back, aiming my gun at Kim.

"Bright, please, calm down. Put the gun down," she pleaded, fear etched on her face.

"Why? Are you afraid I might actually kill him?" I replied, anger boiling over.

"You won't, because I won't let you. If you kill him, you have to kill me first," she declared, stepping in front of Kim.

"What are you doing, Grace? He's a killer! He murdered my parents!" I shouted, frustration taking over.

Kim spoke up, "I didn't kill your uncle and aunt!" The way he referred to them only fueled my rage.

"Don't you dare call them that again," I warned, my grip tightening on the gun.
