"You killed her..." I stutter. It all made sense now...
"Yup, not that big of a loss though..." she says.
"You killed them. Nyx and Evie." I say, my voice shaking.
"I guess"Claire says.
"How could you?" I felt water on my cheeks. I don't remember myself to start to cry...
"It's my job" Claire says like it was a normal day of school.
"Job?"I asked. What job? This was planned?!
"For my bosses"Claire says. Her smirk didn't miss a beat.
Bosses...
"But wait..." I say. "You mere with us, when they died..."
"Who?"she sounded almost bored. "You'll have to be more specific."
"Nyx" I say. "You didn't leave for a second. And there wasn't poison..."
"No, I can't do everything on my own"Claire says shrugging.
"But who..." I stop. There were few people that weren't with us..."
"Me"Jacob walks up. Weapon in hand.
"Will?!" I can't stop the question from escaping my lips. "Where's Will?!" They had gone to 'search' together.
"Somewhere in the halls..." Jacob says.
Before I could say anything, Seth jumps in-front of me, weapon raised. "Run!!!!"
