The stairs lead to a door which revealed the rooftop and the back figure of a muscular man.

Mia eyes moved from his back to the rifle in front of him. From the direction it was pointed at, she could guess the target. Without wasting a millisecond, she charged at him, pulling a knife from her left boot. But she was too late. He shot the gun as her hand came down with the knife, piercing his lower abdomen from behind.

As the pain surged through, the man turned to look at the person who did it, but her eyes were looking over the rooftop to see who was hurt. Thankfully, it wasn't Anton or the one she risked her life to rescue.
Turning her head back to her victim, she was met with a scary looking face. One look at his face and you could tell that he lived a very rough life; one of his eye was blind - the left one, a deep scar from his right cheekbone to his jaw, a fiery look in the right eye and his patched dark lips. Mia concluded that he may have been part of a gang.

A powerful but wobbly punch came at her stomach, making her crumble to the ground instantly, before coughing really hard. Her eyes were misty as her brain tried to regain its consciousness.
The man pulled the knife that she planted in him, and approached her unsteadily, as blood spilled from the deep cut.
Raising her head up to the approaching footsteps, she saw a bloody knife coming down at her. Adrenaline rushed in, but she wasn't fast enough, therefore causing the knife to slice through her left arm.  Applying pressure to the cut with her other hand, she stood up, rage visible in her eyes.

She stood still as he approached her again, blood dripping from her injury as well as his.
Once he was close enough, she gave him a kick in the groin. His eyes widened in pain as he fell flat on his face, with a deep groan.

With her boot's hard base, she stepped on the injury that she had inflicted on him, which made him groan more in agony. Gathering up his strength, he turned around speedily and tried to slash a cut at her leg but she dodged by merely an inch pulling out her gun from her belt. And before he could comprehend, she banged his head with it twice, rendering him unconscious.

As she stood up wobbly, panting quietly in pain, she looked down again from the rooftop and saw the commotion. Holding in the stinging pain that was constantly shooting her arm, she headed down.

Through the cameras, Luther who was tapping his feet in anxiousness, saw Mia walk in and thankfully she didn't look hurt; that was what he thought. Her ear pod had fallen when she was punched and Luther hearing the sound tried to know what happened but rather heard a disturbing ringing sound as it was unknowingly stepped on by Mia's opponent.
He finally relaxed, seeing that she was still alive, because God knows he already thought of many negative sceneros.

She walked past the immobilized guards, out of the gate, and to a scene of Elizabeth and her daughter crying over a dead Bono, whose gray coloured T-shirt was soaked in blood. Anton trying not to cry while facing the opposite direction; to him, it felt like his father died, for the second time.

Anton's eyes met hers, and they widened. He wanted to cuss at himself but couldn't. He had forgotten that she was still inside the house, maybe because Bono had taken a bullet on his behalf?. The shock alone had him dazed, so much that he couldn't cry, scream or even think properly.

He took long strides to her approaching figure and enveloped her in a hug.

"I'm sorry Nat” Mia's lips were slightly apart in shock.

Though she didn't think anything when he approached her with such large strides, a hug and apology, would have been out of the list. Especially the apology, she didn't know why he was apologizing.

He pulled away then searched her eyes, before scanning her body.

"Are you hurt anywhere?"

"I'm fine"

Looking through her eyes again, he pulled her in for another hug.

"I don't know what I would have done if something happened to you. Thank you. For being alive. For not getting hurt"

Mia gave into the hug. She didn't want to think about how nice it was that someone else was glad she wasn't hurt or dead. Other than Luther and Dixon, they had been no one else. But he's was different.

She used her uninjured right hand to pat his back as he tightened the hug. At least, she understood how he felt at this moment; he had lost someone close to him, and she understood the feeling of loss very well.

Anton looked to the sandy soil at his feet, as another drop of blood fell. Then again and again.
He immediately pulled away from the hug and grabbed her left arm.

"You're bleeding" he said alarmed.

As if responding to him, she felt a massive amount of pain as he held her arm but bit her tongue so as to not let a groan out.

"I'm okay. It's not that deep anyway"

"What do you mean it's not that deep. I told you to be careful. I told you not to get hurt. You promised me that you won't, now what's this?" His voice sounded broken, and with every word he uttered, his eyes became slightly red and misty.

"But I'm totally fine. I..."

"Do not give me that. Why don't you ever care for yourself?" He asked with his cracked voice.
"Fine then, allow me to care for you" His eyes never leaving hers as he spoke.
