Chapter Forty-Nine

Niall's POV;

"Are you ready, Nialler?" Liam asks right before we go onstage at the concert. I nod, excited to see what happens tonight. Madison is in the crowd, first row. Her smile will mean the most to me tonight.

Paul pushes us onto the stage, interrupting all my thoughts. Josh and the band start a slow tempo as Louis begins to speak.

"Tonight is a special night. I think everyone will understand why in just a few moments," he says.

"I would like everyone to please stand up, and please be extra quiet," Harry adds.

"We'd like to thank all of you for just standing by us through thick and thin," Liam continues.

"And we hope you'll still love us all through this little situation," Zayn finishes their small speech before I begin mine.

"We love you all, and I love someone special. She's in the crowd tonight, and I'd love if everyone but her would sit for just a few moments." Madison was the only one who remained standing. She looked around. She was always afraid of attention. "Madison, I love you so much! I would do anything to be with you forever. Ever since I first met you, you have made me realize that I don't need a model to be happy. I just need you. You make me happy every single day. That's why I am up here, telling you this. Madison, will you marry me?" I got down on one knee right in front of her seat and the cameras zoomed in on just us. The music died down as she looked at the ring I was holding. Everyone in the crowd gasped. Madison looked into my eyes.

"Niall James Horan, yes! I will marry you!" she squealed. I smiled before pulling her on stage and slipping the ring on her tiny left hand finger. I pulled her close and kissed her. The crowd aww'd as I let her go. "I love you."

"I love you too, Princess," I replied. She went back to her seat and cheered us on for the rest of the show. Afterwards, Simon called and congratulated us, saying he knew we'd end up getting married soon enough. 

I was so happy to finally have my princess.
